Are you asking for the hardest games ever or games we "had a hard time getting through"? I had some trouble getting the best ending in Cave Story. (The final level is like an endurance run, with enemy and falling-rock patterns to memorize.)
Cave Story best ending is not hard at all if you know what you're getting yourself into and come prepared. Can't think which one the hardest game I played is right now. Probably something that's not very hard at all either.

So there it finally is, and it was a great run throughout, full of surprises and non-stop action. Nice abuse of the blocking mail too and the final length of the movie is shorter than expected. Great job, easy star canidate for my money.

Whoa. Now, it's been a while since I last played ALttP, but I could swear this is not the way you're supposed to go through the game.

It's been a while, "secretly" I have worked on my Rockman 2 improvement. * Flashman boss fight without taking any damage. * Heatman contains a neat trick I found and is now 16 frames faster. Also I optimized some item3 heights. * Airman is now 16 frames faster as well, I saved some item1s, optimized their raising speeds and used them in the front of the gates to zip. * In the Crashman stage I used the trick to zip after the death (saves around 5-6 frames), also because of different item1 heights I have a lead but I still have to finish DelayLadderTech off without losing too much time Here's the teaser picture (this trick I found motivated me to start this project once again):
What? This is happening?

Link to video Swing remixed to Drum'n'Bass, and I couldn't love it any more.

Hey, wanna know how my name is pronounced? [skrɪ́mpɛː] Well, that was difficult, wasn't it?

Ok, maybe we should start adapting existing, but less known jokes to TASing. Like for example: "My wife told me that either I stop making tool-assisted speedruns, or she will leave me." "But that's terrible!" "Indeed. I will miss my wife quite a lot."
That's a better approach, but the best jokes would work only with the subject matter. Cut and paste jokes will only get us so far as well.

This thread might have more merit if there were actually jokes here.

SB used magic at 2:01 and I'm a bit surprised some fans predicted the color correctly. Did I miss something or did the show runners copy the fanarts' color? I loved this episode btw
Well, that's just her eye color, so not that far off a guess. The episode was fairly nice, if predictable. I'm surprised they didn't do an episode like this sooner, actually.

Nice, but I saw that BitDW is ever so slightly improvable. Voting no.

Level 9 looks utterly insane. I can't believe a human actually managed to do it.

Looking at the game without reading of it, it looked eerily familiar until it eventually hit me: This is Knytt. Run that instead, man. As for the particular run at hand, it looks fairly simplistic, but short enough (with a rather curious game, to boot) to not get boring. Yes vote for rapping.

Looks like no more than sensationalist finger-pointing to me. It's nothing new by this point and, as jlun said, nothing exclusive to 'bronies'. It wouldn't be worth any more attention, but I do find it unfair towards the people that did upload the pictures to be taken advantage of like that, as I don't think they agreed to it.

Haha, kicking from Imps and Medusa heads. Didn't see that coming, Please don't stop surprising me like that.

G1 simply has the 'typical 80s cartoon look' in my eyes, and I can respect that. The ponies are not stylized to the degree of later gens and it uses a traditional black-outline style. G3 and G3.5 in contrast just give off the impression of cheap Flash (or comparable) cartoon.

The run that blew my mind? Too damn many. - Super Metroid in general. I was amazed by how precise and perfect the movements were compared to regular speedruns. And the rest is history. - Super Mario Kart by cstrakm. To this day an amazing run for me. - Cave Story by nitsuja is a modern example, simply because of how amazing the game is for a TAS. I'll add more as I remember them.

Watched the encode, and I must say I was fairly impressed. Granted, often, you did have to slow down, but hte sheer amount of projectiles and enemies the game throws at you was staggering. A really impressive sight to watch if I may say so myself. Voting yes for... whatever the voting still is good for these days.
