So, we post our favorite video game music now? At this point, I'd like to mention that Konami MSX composers really knew their shit: King Kong 2 MSX OST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ipE2qehD0M Treasure of Uşas Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xgb7NFCL7YE And Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgDpNzc0wl0&feature=related Treasure of Uşas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ_-1RPZkUk

Personally I wouldn't mind Youtube ad revenue floating to TASvideos. If nothing else, it means I get to indirectly support the site by simply watching encodes.

Needs more percussion. Pretty neat find though.

Zips? In my Mega Man 10? Just a shame it's so tiny. Great work nonetheless.

So, I watched it, and holy hell, that was absolute carnage. Really amazed you managed to do this, this a great multi-game submission. Yes vote.

So, I watched the encode. I don't really care a lot about fighting games, and I never have seen any footage of SSBM. With that in mind, I liked the run. Fox's antics were kind of funny and I liked how fast some of the matches went over. If the technical difficulties are put aside, I think this is enough for me to give it a yes.

Great run this one. It contained many cool tricks and surprised me more than once. Yes vote.

That doesn't explain why you made the concious decision to do so.

First-world problem: users annoyingly repeating themselves in the same thread. :D
But it drives me positively bonkers! How could such a travesty not be a genuine problem!?

Personally I do think that Kaizo is worth a publication due to its legendary status. The run itself is highly optimized and breaks both the game engine and the level design in many cool ways not seen in other SMW publications. Yes vote.

Woo, I'm really excited for this. Great WIPs by the two of you so far, I'm really looking forward to the full game and its eventual TAS. Please, do keep it up

Personally I'd be for using Resets, since it really only skips boring slow menu tomfoolery and no actual gameplay. Also, I think that collecting the eggs new should be more interesting than just carrying over the stock from the last bunch. If nothing else, it could mean the opposite - you need to collect less eggs beforehand because they won't be carried over anyway. Just my two cents, I'm really excited to hear this is still active.

Yes, any switch palace is. The run deliberately does not enter them as part of the "small only" goal.
I'm not quite sure I understand why you can't finish them as small Mario. When you finish them do you automatically get a mushroom or something?
Nah, that's not the case. It's just that next to not collecting any mushrooms, fire flowers or feathers, the run also does not use Yoshi or goes to any switch palaces. It's just a series of restrictions to make the run interesting.

Maybe a dumb question, but isn't the yellow switch palace reachable as small Mario?

Bout time the run gets improved, and you did a very great job. It's really impressive how much you were able to squeeze out of the game. Yes vote.

Oh, the desire to have one's own forum. I've been there before, in fact, I think I've been around the same age as you. Either way, best of luck with yo forum, though I think it's better to have a centralized recourse hub for this kind of thing, which tasvideos more or less is. Attempting to split up the community is high treason and will be punished by might not be the best idea in that case. Just sayin'

No, no, you just upload your movie file somewhere (e.g. microstorage), for your partner to take over, let him do the same, and repeat. If you're really daring, you could give svn a shot, but that's some rather advanced stuff.

Dear lord, this is awesome. I've seen many of those tricks before, but never quite to the optimization and perfection to a TAS. It only makes me more exciting, thinking about how the full game would look. And, how fast it'd be.
