After finally getting the time to watch this movie, without having seen the previous one or even being that familiar with the game, I must say, I was impressed. It started out entertaining enough, you moved swiftly through the stages and it was entertaining just looking at Mega Man dancing around, especially anytime you had to wait. The warping using the ice wall was damn cool, too and so was killing Tengu Man with one single Crash Bomb Remote Mine. In General, I liked how you had uses aplenty for weapons other than the standard peashooter. Lastly, what's up with the graphical glitches later on? Also, is Wily humping the floor? Still, it's an easy yes vote from me.

A fairly interesting game. Route planning and minor optimizations will be most of what goes into the game, I presume. It depends on how long the game is not to wear thin.

Nice, I like! The Gold key skip and death warps were especially cool, though why didn't you pick up the second heart in the boss level. I'm sure you'll be forced to death warp more than once. It's almost a shame, all this cool music, and it doesn't get to play out.

I really don't know about this one. Technically, it was entertaining, but like so many other runs, it gets sammiched by the 0 and the 120 star runs, and there really doesn't remain any room for this, especially considering that the 0 star is more or less an evolution of this one. If anything, I'd be all over a new 120 run. Still, the run was exciting enough for me to vote yes, though really it's more because seeing a new 120 in my lifetime will be more than unlikely, so this has to suffice.

Aah, yes. I had been wondering on how a WA TAS would look and what part of the game to TAS. This looks pretty impressive, and faster than I had imagined. Given that there's a replay file, this looks legit too.

A Konami MSX game from 1987. The heroes, Popolon and Aphrodite must enter the titular Maze to defeat the titular owner of that maze. The game contains ten worlds and an overworld-like castle in which the heroes start, all laid out in a Metroidvania-like Fashion. If you've played La-Mulana, this game should feel eerily familiar to you. Anyway, I've started a quick testrun on this game, and right now am at the entrance to World 1 at 43 seconds in. I will post a WIP once I get World 1 done. To get an idea of how the game looks and plays, check out this run up to world 1 made by Vampier: Link to video

Hmm, that is very odd indeed. In general, what may affect the syncing of this movie should be a ROM or some emulator option, e.g. emulating a GBA game while running the movie. I don't know what causes the desync once, run fine the next times though. In general, if you want to upload a movie file, use microstorage (http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php) or, if microstorage doesn't support the file, Mediafire, or some other filehosting system. Just make sure it doesn't require any waiting times, registration or any of that other bullshit.

Brain Age is sooooo mainstream. So, somewhat less predictably, but still a very enjoyable run: [1530] DS New Super Mario Bros. by adelikat in 21:41.54 And obligatory: [1628] GBA Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow "all souls" by Kriole in 25:47.05

[1649] NES Mega Man 2 by aglasscage, finalfighter, pirohiko & Shinryuu in 23:48.51 Overall a highly impressive movie, with tons of glitching and other very cool stuff involved. While Mega Man 1 is damn impressive, some competition never hurt, did it?

There's a spot in Stage 2 (about 1 minute in) that I wonder if you can fall down instead of taking the stairs. I'm also wondering if the whip jumping (as used in the beginning of Stage 1) could be used more often. The game itself is good. There's just a few things I wonder if it could be better.
You can't fall down the stairs there. If you whip immediately after jumping, you hit what's directly in front of you, and I use it often to get past the skeletons because otherwise, they'd throw a bone at me. Do you perhaps have any specific spots in mind? Thanks, anyway

And finally, the Testrun's done at 19:11ish (sort of hard to say where exactly input ends, a read-only mode would be nice to avoid tampering with it) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIFhbF4kPi0 : Encode, may take a while to process http://www.mediafire.com/?e2ym83chzehhs6j : Input file. With enough optimization, this could potentially be sub 19 minutes or even less, so I will now test out a variety of things before moving on to the optimized run. I hope you like this run, everything else I want to say is in the video comments. Any comments, possible improvements, etc. are greatly appreciated ~ scrimpeh
