Welcome to tasvideos, FVDTSUYOSA! I won't be voting until I see an encode, but it is good to finally see such a run being submitted.

Just think about it, I could do whatever I want. On the whole however, I think I will become a juggler.

Go to Config > Controls > Configure Controls. In the lower right corner of the window, there should be a box saying "Allow L+R/U+D". Tick that one and you should be good.

The goal is to get the overall run as short as possible. So, if you lose some time in one section to save more time in another, that's fine. I don't really think this applies to SM64's stars, the having a run be as quick as possible would naturally mean that every single star record should be matched or broken. After all, if you're slower in one star, that's a possible improvement to the run. ...well, that's what I think.

Very nice run, fast paced, and the boss fights were great too. No doubt about it, it's a yes vote

Yo. Is this game still being worked on, because I'm interested in improving the current run. I don't know if this is new or not, but apparently, the crouching state the game forces you into when jumping from a higher ledge can be avoided by jumping all the time.

Booyah! Shame you don't get to listen to the music for very long though.

While I always found myself preferring the non-glitched run, this is a nice improvement to the published run. Yes vote.

Finally! Given how this run uses the Mother 2 ROM, I'd say we publish it alongside the original run, because, the discussion wasn't bad enough the last time.

You shouldn't initiate or fuel a pointless discussion. Now let me go all meta and remark on how I just did what I told you guys not to do.

Ironically, friendly was the exact opposite of what you played. Very nice run, and a pretty obvious yes vote.

I'd actually like to see more complete runs, perhaps even of newer systems. A newer Castlevania would be cool.

Very nice movie, although by the description, a lower difficulty might've been in order. Yes vote overall.

Are you German by any chance? That would explain the word "Treiber" There are programs available to map the buttons of your gamepad to the keyboard, but I don't know any specific ones.

Oh, and another question: How is it possible to get past the spiked ceilings in Stage 6 in one go? /edit: never mind, I figured it out. Instead, have this updated WIP: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/440652465/scrimpehcvania2.fm2 I was concerned I should've picked up the long whip to make the medusa fight go by quicker, but I was close enough all the time. I still think I'll have to pick up the long whip somewhere. Other questions that come to mind: - Getting both mummies on one side: Possible and worth it? - Getting past the Axe Knights quicker

It is difficult to determine what exactly is a glitch and what is not. Is the way you preserve movement speed in Super Mario World a glitch or just a side effect of the mechanic, just to name one of the countless examples. You can see movies here that don't use a specific glitch (many "warpless" movies come to mind), but due to the unclear boundaries of the word glitch, most "glitchless" or "low glitch" runs just don't work.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/439732139/scrimpehcvania.fm2 Quick and dirty no subweapons/no damage Castlevania TAS in 14:03.33. It is highly unoptimized with lots of tiny, but noticeable mistakes, so, maybe there could be a whole 30 seconds chopped off. If optimized, would such a run make a good canidate for submission? What do you guys think? (encode is on its way) Encode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hnc4uUdBv8U

Is there any TASable Platform this game is on? This game might be a good canidate for a playaround.

Not the most exciting of runs, but still enough to warrant a Yes vote from me.

Google Translator would be the easiest choice, although in the long run, just learning English will be better.
