I watched the 1-1 WIP. But since I'm on a laptop here, I cannot watch the .pxm, so thanks for the encode. Looking forward to seeing more of this.

Sorry bro, Windows can't properly be emulated yet. And besides, where's the fun in doing that?

While the run was well made technically, it is too similar to the published run. The only noteworthy trick is the vine glitch in 4-2, and that one is shown in the warpless run instead. While it's a notable effort, I'm going to have to vote no due to bad goal choice. (Don't let this deter you though, there are plenty of games that just need to be run that no one's working on!)

While I don't think that premature judging isn't a big problem, this certainly sounds like a good idea to me. I do, however think that the delay might be a bit too long, especially for submissions that have "YES!" written all over them. So, for example, Submisssions that are improvements to published runs could have their delay shortened, since there is a solid base to compare the run to. Alternatively, the votes could be used to factor in how long the delay is, so a highly anticipated movie can be published sooner, although I think I'm making things too complex here.

Open it in Read+Edit mode, save a state on where you want to continue and load that state. Also, a valuable lesson to learn: Make backups, erasing a movie file because you accidentally loaded a wrong state is not nice.

New All souls run would be something I'm definitely gonna look forward too. SRAM is fine as it is. Iirc, it means you can skip the cutscenes, which is a big plus. I would say that you should stick with hard difficulty, as it allows for easier comparison to the previous movie. Normal difficulty would however also be fine with me.

Movie syncs with me. From a technical standpoint, I can't see anything wrong with it, in fact, I wasn't aware you could enter doors like that.

Lo and welcome to tasvideos, enjoy your stay! As for your problem, I'm not too familiar with mupen, by I suspect it's the video plugin that doesn't work. You should look into that.

Is this supposed to be a carricature of Frame Wars in general?

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/440525332/rayman-taswip3-7-31-10.vbm AP2 and AP3. I'm probably going to redo both of these, because all there is probably some optimization in both of these. Notes: - while the RAM watch shows values that are higher, Rayman's Speed is capped somewhere. I assume it can't go higher than the speed you get when sliding down a steep slope. (117-something, normal walking speed is 33-something) - on straight slipperies, jumping is somewhat faster then walking. when sliding down at high speeds, jumping will however slow you down a bit (doubt it makes a difference, with the speed capped) - when jumping at high speeds (>100-something) and smacking into a wall, it'll slow you down to (50 something) by avoiding the walls when falling to the photographer in AP-3, I can go at speeds higher than I should. - AP-3 is a very annoying level, because there are tons of places where you can build up quite a respectable amount of velocity, only to have some obstacle slow you down Anyway, let me know what you think

I'm sorry, but the game itself is not very exciting to watch.

I doubt any chess run is going to please everybody. The seven second movie of the Chessmaster was rejected despite very positive response, and opinions are also rather divided on this run. The problem lies in the game's nature, as you're essentially allowed to define your own goals, especially in games that let you select difficulty. Hardly any goal you can have with a chess run is universally accepted among runners, so it is difficult to define the standards of what a chess run usually should meet. In general, a TAS should have some entertainment behind it, and while the AI manipulation can make for a good source, the game itself doesn't work due to the painfully slow animations. Perhaps a faster paced game that shows some stupid AI moves or breaks the game might be a more interesting idea, but, as said before, that's never going to please everybody. I, myself, do not really care about chess runs, so if they accepted, it'll be fine with me, but I won't shed a tear if they're not, so, ultimately, I will not vote.

Without speaking Italian, I already guessed this is supposed to be "Deal or no deal." I was correct. You should use the American version for the run, if the game itself is any good far tasing.

The run looked well done, but good lord, what's up with those animations. They take forever. I'll have to go with meh, sorry bro.

Wow, you even managed sub 1-hour? Watching now, voting then. From the WIPs I had seen, this is a definite yes anyway. /and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Yes vote for sure
