I don't know...
Because he uses a Lua script to skip the sex scenes ?
Too much trouble with "fuck manipulation" ? (lame pun -_-')
Because he'd finish in under 10 secs ? (in-bed timer)
To get the lowest "score" ?
I spliced all the recent gmvs together. ARZ2, CNZs and MCZ2 still look strangely unoptimal.
I can't upload it to microstorage for the moment. I'm currently looking for a trick to enter MZ1 floor at the beginning and skip the whole level. I managed to fall through the floor here but it's useless.
The purpose of this project is to show the entertainement potential of this goal, hoping better TASers (Ex: you, Aglar, Felipe, Mike89, Marzojr, DMTM, LTRP, etc....) can help me with a run that I'm not good enough to do by myself.... while I'm learning ^^.
Thanks for your help with the run. Don't worry, I have a lot of names to include in the credits and I won't forget yours ;P. At the end, I'll probably just be the one who looked for routes and spliced all these pieces of awesomeness together.
Is there something I can do about this ?
ERROR: File "C:\Users\Anthony\Documents\Jeux\Genesis emul\Rom\S2K\spliced-x.bak.bak.bak.gmv" starts with "" instead of "Gens Movie" and thus cannot be a GMV.
Edit: Problem solved. MCZ1 is now 8 seconds faster but still improvable a lot. Back to MCZ2 now.
MCZ2: 44sec. Now the levels I hate the most... OOZs
I'm still looking for tricks and shortcuts but I'm not good enough to complete it...
In-game time:
EH1: 0:18 (Aglar)

AR2: 0:44
CN1: 0:28
CN2: 0:38
HT1: 0:35
HT2: 1:01
MC1: 0:34 (WST)
MC2: 0:44
OO1: 0:38
OO2: 0:42

MZ2: 0:29 (Felipe)
MZ3: 1:00 (Marzojr)
SC: 2:05
WF: 1:52
DE: 0:40 (Aglar)
There may be a way to save a second on Death egg by entering the floor and zipping to the left... probably useless though.
Don't worry, you'll find a way. For a moment, some of Sonic 2 zones where thought to be impossible. (ex: Casino night zone 2, Hilltop zone 2, Metropolis Zone 2)
They're all possible now. ^^ Good luck on this, I'll take a look at it to see if I can help.
A TAS of a no-rings run would probably not be as impressive as it sounds, as essentially you'd have a TAS of regular levels only with slower paths when rings are in the way. The impressive thing about no-rings is the risk involved and the challenge of avoiding them, both of which are completely trivialized in a TAS. I'm not sure how you don't just end up with a slightly slower version of existing runs. I welcome someone to do one and prove me wrong, though.
A lot of imagination is needed to complete a no-ring run. Few months ago, I did a S2K no-ring test run (that would have been impossible without Felipe, Marzojr and Mike89), I can't even imagine how hard a S3K run would be. Here's the ringless S2K thread, Mike89's Sonic 1 no-ring TAS and my two (totally unoptimized) videos.
