I dont think he meant playing a tas from an older versions. that usually never works moving forward.
By the way, this new polling seems to fix my TASing issue when hitting the cutscenes.
One thing I am wondering about is When I am watching my rerecording input and then I want to start TASing again. Pause at End of Movie stops 1 frame early (which is good I think..) But I un-check read-only mode, save state, load state. I should be ready to tas again? but it doesn't.

Does this PR make inputs more responsive? or just more accurate when replaying?
Just as clarification, you just want us to record movies with gamecube controller input?
Either way, I will record some movies when I get home with crazy taxi, haunted mansion, 007, and whatever else I have.

Might only be me (so if anyone else is TASing lemme know if it happens to you guys).
Have Frame Counter Set to ON.
Make a input recording, play it back with pause at the end of movie and read-only off, start frame advance from there.
It seems the frame counter OSD resets from the end of movie. if you continue TASing it seems to all play through but even after replaying the video, the frame counter will only start from the point where you previously started TASing.
Another issue is there is a cutscene in the game I am trying to tas and as soon as the it triggers, you can no longer frame advance through it. it just continues on playing (making you miss several frames to input), as well as the frame counter not including those frames from the cutscene in its counter
edit: Here's a video from OBS to capture the OSD, DTM file states 2570 frames, dolphin shows 1202. Doesn't start frame counter until about 550ish. Lots of skipped frames on the counter from the cutscene you hear but don't see.

I did try Directx SDK with redistributed packages and all other options selected. I tried looking for directx9 and kept getting redirected to the upgrade to windows 10 page, didnt think to look for d3dx9_43.dll, I will check out Dependency Walker when I get home. Not a big issue for me though so don't mind me.

An unhandled exception of type 'SlimDX.Direct3D9.Direct3DX9NotFoundException' occurred in SlimDX.dll
Additional information: Direct3DX 9 was not found. Please install the latest DirectX end-user redistributable package from Microsoft.
This is the error I got when running BizHawk past 1.11.0 on Windows 10. Some people say Win10 Bizhawk works.
When not running it through VS2015, you dont receive any errors or warnings.

You seemed to have started a game before configuring your controllers. Stop the game and you should be able to add more controllers. For the TAS Input, when you enable a secondary and more controllers, more Controller boxes will appear for each controller for the TAS.

Hey everyone! It's been a while but I am finally starting testing for Crazy Taxi Crazy Box :)
So far in testing I have just been trying to find the sweet spots of where to crazy dash and have gotten a top record of 371yards so far! It only takes three four crazy dashes, starting at the back of the ramp, and a little magic bump at the end of the ramp
Once I know I can get higher than like 390, I will start TASing Crazy Box.

Ohh man, this is juicy... At 1:27, was there a reason to wait while the door opens?
Also, have we checked for desyncs? (I've been preoccupied to try any dtm files yet)
