I haven't watched it, but I'm just wondering what does "Flawless" mean? Is it a playaround? A speedrun?
Flawless meant not getting hit in the video. Seems like he plays all the tournaments in it

Hey, for a tip, I remembered grinding the Anteroom in real time play since one of the vases seems to drop gold bars every now and then without a limit. If my memory is correct, I used this to get gold bar from one of the vases and then use toad to save and reset before trying again. In other words it should be checked which places can be manipulated to give coins/goldbars.
Find a place close to toad, clear room, grab gold bars, save and reset? wouldn't saving and resetting take a lot of time ?

We were stunned with max% NTSC but PAL? oh it's going to even more awesome, stunning us more. The route is pretty straightforward, you enter room and clean it up, the only problem is RNG, the money and boo placement in any furnitures.
that'll be okay though I guess, savestate -> go into room find which things have coins, reset and find best paths

Is it a hack or a glitch? If it's the former would it get the game accepted? If it's the latter, could you show me (in the very basics) how lua works?
it would be a hack just for you, so you could see where you're going. It's accepted to use this, because when we play it back your character is just going to look amazing knowing where to go in the dark lol. edit: if you look at submissions, the sonic 3 for genesis uses a camera hack when they were TASing, but when replaying you dont need the hack and it works just fine.

Link to video fixed all the desyncs and in return it added a little more entertainment - dodging bullets, being in the ground more, super speed at some points, WWE wrestling move finish with darkseid.

Has anyone seen a faster 100% PAL run?
Well about the PAL 100% , yeah it is fastest one (1:44:47), they don't run this category because it's too hard to speedrun, considering the rank A is 150 millon.

Im unsure how the OoB glitch would work in 100%.. skip Chauncey's key and try to drop through the floors into the next area a 100% route would take maybe?
Well It is possible to do some rooms, the problem is, skipping the chauncey key and get early bomigre and the key will be replaced, making you unable to open to gain access area 2. Link to video By the way, there's category Max% (NTSC) , which means you collect all money existent, all potraits gold frames, 50 boos. http://www.twitch.tv/ilovevark/c/3855973

Also doesn't like me saving as PNG, had to save as BMP cause convert.exe is missing.
convert.exe is ImageMagick. It’s almost a «standard» program in Linux and other UNIX systems, but almost not known in Windows world. Though it will not help much — even if it’s installed, the resulting map will still be broken into pieces… The graphical glitches, I beleive, can be avoided by making the savestate a little later in the level — when the proper tiles for the level terrain are loaded into memory.
I used the savestates that came from the sonic extractor site, ill attempt again on friday with savestates that the TAS gives me.

How about making a mini? like a radar indicating the position of the player according to the level?
Well, for now even making something like I already did is under a big question. Anyone, who understands how it’s done, can easilly take my script and do it himself. It will be a lot faster. Because making the encode for me means that I have to 1. Install Windows into VirtualBox (or install lua-gd into my Gens running under wine) 2. Free some extra disk space, as I don’t have quite enough now 3. Run an extremely long process, which will be even longer if I add some extra code (examples: HUD, mini map) 4. Go to another city (located 70km from me) just to upload the resulting video I’d like to remind you that I also have some coding tasks from my job to be solved soon. P.S.: who the hell could give this a «No» vote?
I said I'd do the encode if someone would gimme the lua scripts(Im not too familiar with scripting yet so I don't know which part to change in it, maybe viewport-camera.. last time I tried it told me I need some other lua scripts.

I haven't, but if I can suggest something, can the 100% use the OoB glitch? Since it can only be used once, it would be utilized quite differently than the any%, thus showing off more of the game.

Probably the hardest part of this is to make it a Confirmed entry... and I mean... REALLY hard. Prime example: Spongebob. The show has too many memes that are actually confirmed, but the actual show isn't. Also, the entry has to be well done and well written and follow the rules of making an entry... or else it goes to deadpool.
http://www.livememe.com/q9l9m0x.jpg now how do we market this..

Post subject: Adding Controllers and min/max ranges to BizHawk

http://imgur.com/a/zmW46 Button at the very top loads the other controllers(P2,P3,P4) Player 1 controller has the only visible max/min ranges, other controllers have it but its invisible(one player to rule them all). Taking away the other controllers(when they are not necessary), allows you to Tab between X value and Y value for an easier experience with slight changes in values. If anyone has other feature requests that are very minimal, leave a message!

I was actually planning on doing a very short test run with a real Wii Mote/Motion plus, then manually adding in any frame perfect inputs.
That seems rather nasty to do, at least without writing some helper programs to decode/encode DTM files or somesuch. Traditional hex editing does not work well with DTM files (because of the variable stride).
Apologies for my ignorance, but what is variable stride?
A way to think about it is with most of the emulators we have with rerecord, inputs are recorded in plain text or have a taseditor to help read the inputs. for Dolphin, the frame inputs start like 0x100 in the dtm file and are only read in 00 to FF. so like standing still is 00 00 00 00 80 80 80 80 or something like that.. you'd need another program to help read and change inputs.. which should have been DTM Reader's next update if it ever happened but all DTM reader can do is look at the input for a certain frame you entered sadly.

EDIT: Dat Altas encode. If it could be modified to show rings and objects while they're offscreen, it would be perfect. I actually thought about something like that while watching the WIPs, but I didn't think it was already a thing.
Making the offscreen rings/objects work is possible, but it will certainly involve a lot of coding and, even more importantly, some knowledge about the game engine which I do not have.
I'd love to help if I can with the atlas encode if you'd like :P

1. Some Wii games as well as Gamecube games have a lot of desyncing problems due to emulator issues. so that makes it hard to record and replay correctly if it cannot synchronyze well. 3. Japanese games are usually only faster due to textspeed, every once in a while there is a game from a different region that has a certain glitch that others do not.

Think I edited my old post above. Anyways I made this wip this morning. Roughly 15 minutes ahead of Alec, was hoping to be closer to total time of an hour but I might be okay with 1hr15..

SSBM runs at 60 Mario Sunshine(?), Wind waker, Luigi's Mansion at 30
for games that run at 30, does dolphin have a way to skip the frame? i know there was a menu option for frame skipping but I never used it.
