I'm not sure exactly what you mean. You can select multiple frames and change them all at once, using Ctrl or Shift, if that's what you mean. You don't have to do them 1 Frame at a time.

Here's the glitch. I found that for 1 Frame, you can use your weapon in the Cossack Stage 3 Boss room, which leads to some cool tricks and glitches. Check out the video.

Part 5; a juicy seven and a half minute video. Using Wire glitching, I do some pretty neat stuff, including but not limited to: -Rapid fire Rain Flush -Flying -Hovering -Getting weapon energy after death -Making the game unplayable -and more! Mind you, it's a little out of context, but nonetheless. The video also includes moonwalking and how to kill Dr. Wily. Now, I have my doubts but using the flying trick with Wire may be faster since you can get to the ladder at a faster speed, but I'm not so sure about switching to and from Wire. Perhaps if at least one other helpful technique can be used, then Wire might actually become an optimal idea. Enjoy. =D

What happens if you use Wire the instant you get Wire/Balloon? Or is that not possible?
I don't believe that's possible since there's a few frame delay when using Wire. Bright and Toad work since they are instant. Even Ring can't be used.

Well stay tuned then. ;D I have some more glitches coming up that can do some really funky stuff, including more that make beating the game impossible. It'll be up in a day or two, depends how busy I am.

Here's a brief TAS of the Quick Draw Bonus Game, where I amuse you and show off a little visual glitch.

I found a neat trick while using Fairy. If you hold Left and Right or Down and Right and then hold Up, you fly upward at incredibly high speeds. Also, I've been using the Left+Right speed boosting bug in numerous places. On any elevator, if you move against the left wall and then hold Left+Right, you can slowly enter the wall, and if you do this at the top of the screen, you can get onto the top, and then leave the screen in ways you're not normally supposed to. I've tried all the places in Parapa Palace and nothing too exciting was found. I've curious if this is a gold mine, waiting to be found in the game somewhere, and possibly improve the glitched run, but I'm doubting it. Likewise, if you speed boost into the wall where an elevator is, you can get far enough into the wall where the wall no longer prevents your movement, but you can still move the elevator upwards, which can allow walking across the ceiling again and also allow you to go upwards by elevator to places you normally weren't supposed to. Here's a video showing off a few of these. One I didn't record was the elevator that heads to the 2nd and 3rd keys. If you go to one of the normally inaccessible places, it will send you to the left side of where the Candle is, but unfortunately, you'll be stuck inside the wall. Even if jumping out of it is possible, you'll be on the ceiling anyway. Anyone have detailed information about this sort of thing?

The main glitch is a sidestepping glitch. When he is about 2 characters' of space away, move towards him and you can take two steps back. Repeating this, you can go further back than normal since you aren't restricted. The second glitch is the way the game handles wins/losses. Since the computer is in the section where my character is supposed to lose, I can still beat him. The additional benefit though is that since my character is on the far right of the screen (normally impossible), I start almost half the distance from him in Round 2 than normal, since I'm moved to the right and skipping the regular starting point.

Yeah, I know it's easier, but I just wanted to demonstrate some speed. I didn't want to do Normal Game though since you had a couple WIPs of it, so I did Time Attack.

Sorry to bump, but it's for content. Here's a TAS of Recca up to the first boss in Time Attack, killing enemies at mach speed. Also, I'm surprised nobody has done a full game run of this.

I take it the reason you aren't doing MM1 is lack of a teleporter room? :(
No, the existence of a pause trick allowing us to kill any boss with 1 ammo.
It doesn't work quite like that, but yeah the Pause Glitch is pretty broken.

Well, I just watched the TAS and my first two levels are almost 100 frames faster. =D As I said though, I did this for fun and don't really intend to finish it. If anyone wants my input file though, just ask. EDIT: Sorry for double-posting, but the previous message glitched out and didn't think it was going to appear.

I mostly did this for fun, but I didn't know there was a 2P version, thanks. I couldn't seem to get zigzagging to work at certain places (while others worked fine), so I must be doing something weird then.

I made a quick 2P TAS of the first two levels. It's quite fast but even better optimization wouldn't surprise me. Also, although the route looks silly, you can't do certain turns sometimes, while other times you get a 1 Frame window to make them. I didn't look too deeply into the mechanics, but basically, it makes zigzagging somewhat impossible. You can check it out here.

Me and Mothrayas have done "How good is ___?" videos, and I decided to compile a list of how good each weapon is. The first number is bosses killed, and the second number is damage on the next boss using the remaining ammo. All numbers are assuming you're attacking the boss that would take the most damage. Shadow Blade Needle Cannon Ring Boomerang Mega Man 2 (5) Metal Quick (3 + 16 Damage) Heat (Normal) (3 + 4 Damage) Air (Normal) (3) Bubble (2 + 6 Damage) Air (Difficult) (2) Heat (Difficult) (1 + 18 Damage) Crash (Normal) (1 + 16 Damage) Heat (Difficult) (1) Wood Crash (Difficult) (14 Damage) Flash Mega Man 3 (7) Top Spin* Glitched Needle** Glitched Shadow** (6 + 14 Damage) Needle (5 + 10 Damage) Shadow (2 + 17 Damage) Spark (2 + 15 Damage) Snake (2 + 6 Damage) Hard Gemini (2) Magnet *Apparently, you can use Top Spin and not use any ammo. If this was done, all but Hard Man could be killed, but avoiding death is also an issue. **By Pausing and switching weapons in between ammo uses, the shots per ammo point gets reset to 0. Hard Man is immune to both. Mega Man 4 (8) Glitched Ring* (7) Glitch Pharaoh** (3 + 9 Damage) Pharaoh*** (2 + 22 Damage) Dust (1 + 21 Damage) Ring Drill (1 + 18 Damage) Dive (1 + 14 Damage) Skull (1 + 13 Damage****) Bright (1) Toad *Technically, you can manuever to keep Ring Boomerang going. This is theoertical and may be impossible to kill all 8. **Using the Pause Glitch, you can avoid running out of ammo, but Pharaoh doesn't affect Skull Man. ***This is without pausing, and since you can charge without using ammo by taking damage, 28 shots are possible. ****Although Bright affects all bosses, it runs out. It takes 5 uses to kill a boss and the remaining 2 can do 13 damage. Mega Man 5 (1 + 21 Damage) Gyro Napalm Stone Charge (1 + 18 Damage) Crystal (1 + 7 Damage) Star Wave (1) Gravity Mega Man 6 (2 + 7 Damage) Flame (1 + 21 Damage) Yamato Wind Knight Tomahawk (1 + 3 Damage) Blizzard (1) Plant Centaur Mega Man 2-6 (8) Glitched Ring (7) Glitch Pharaoh Top Spin Glitched Needle Glitched Shadow (6 + 14 Damage) Needle (5 + 10 Damage) Shadow (5) Metal Quick (3 + 16 Damage) Heat (Normal) (3 + 9 Damage) Pharaoh (3 + 4 Damage) Air (Normal) (3) Bubble (2 + 22 Damage) Dust (2 + 17 Damage) Spark (2 + 15 Damage) Snake (2 + 7 Damage) Flame (2 + 6 Damage) Air (Difficult) Hard Gemini (2) Heat (Difficult) (1 + 21 Damage) Yamato Wind Knight Tomahawk Gyro Napalm Stone Charge Ring Drill (1 + 18 Damage) Dive Crash (Normal) Crystal (1 + 16 Damage) Heat (Difficult) (1 + 14 Damage) Skull (1 + 13 Damage) Bright (1 + 7 Damage) Star Wave (1 + 3 Damage) Blizzard (1) Plant Centaur Wood Crash (Difficult) Gravity Toad (14 Damage) Flash

I like how you froze for about 5 seconds at the end of Hard Man, kinda bizarre.
That happens when you deal the last blow with Hard Knuckle and you don't have enough space between you and the boss to create a visible knuckle before it hits the boss. There's also a way to freeze forever which might've been an even nicer way to end the demo run above:)
Neat, I didn't know that! I don't think I would have used that as a finish since I like to end videos in a more literal sense, but I guess that's just different opinions in style. Thanks for that though!
