I hope that Pittsburgh wins, simply to up the confidence on that team. They've been playing really well all year. The fact that they caught fire with Crosby injured shows that they're a capable team that doesn't have to rely on one or two stars to make it all the way. They also have a 12-2 record in these playoffs so far. On the other hand, a lot of the Red Wings are old farts, and for most of them this will be their last hurrah. Regardless of who wins, it'll definitely be an interesting matchup of the old legends vs. the future of the NHL. Pittsburgh in six. What do you guys think?

If you didn't notice, that wasn't even ten games. I have NO plans to do a top 10 speedruns list - perhaps one of top 10 TRICKS in a speedrun, but in video form and in a separate thread.

Inspired by a dumb post by someone on the NeoGAF Brawl Screenshot thread I thought I would show you just how dumb an idea a lolsmash site would be. And some really dumb examples, using screenshots I took from the NeoGAF forum and adding captions (sorry for the bad resizing). I challenge people to temporarily shut down their brains and join in the supidity of lolsmash.

It sounds like an interesting project. Perhaps I could take a shot at it as a ridiculously ambitious run ;)

I've been following this run for most of its production and the end result is very nice. Yes vote. Here's to many more TAS's from Ferret in the future =P

Pretty lame Castlevania SotN review. I mean, it's laughable it's so bad.
Just started playing SotN (I know, BLASPHEMY it took me so long to play the damn game) and I disagree with everything in this review. It's a great game so far, and I'm sure I'll love it even more when I play it further.

Anything by Mordecai Richler, especially The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz and Barney's Vision. Both great books but not sure how popular they are outside of Canada.

The video was unnecessarily shaky. Blair Witch was meant to look like it was shot by an amateur film crew - it also added to the atmosphere - but in the Link video it just looks sloppy.

For screenshots, I like BisqBot's last one It gives away the final boss but it's busy and shows that this run has a lot more action than other PoP games. For a game description, I think the italicized part of my comments would suffice.[/img]

If you ever want to ditch the Leafs and support a non-Leafs Canadian team, go for the Habs...most cup wins of any NHL team in history can't be bad, and they're still the latest Canadian team to win one (albeit like 15 years ago).
I'm an Anglophone pig. They'd never accept me.

>We haven't won a Stanley Cup SINCE 1967, and I doubt I'll see the Leafs win one before I die. AND I'M SEVENTEEN. I'm not sure I get it. Why are you a fan of a team that sucks? Why not just pick the team that wins? Then you get to be happy instead.
Two reasons: 1. In Canada, hockey isn't exactly life, but intense competition for the faithful. I remember hearing stories about when Quebec City used to have a team, you could NOT walk into Montreal with a Nordiques jersey on (or the Canadiens fans would mob you). Since we're not necessarily a violent country (Harper's campaign in Afghanistan doesn't count, it was a security mission gone horribly wrong) this is the way we take out our frustration. Mind you, a Canadian team hasn't won the Cup since the Montreal Canadiens in 1993. We're getting closer, though. 2. What's living without some tough times? Part of being a fan is enduring the crap years. It's called the "there's-always-next-year" syndrome. It happens a lot in sports. Again, as I stated in my previous post, I am a fan of the team and its storied history, and I hope the Leafs might be able to turn this around and pull a Miracle Met out of their hat or something. Maybe. Pretty please?
