Huh? It worked before in Bizhawk 1.9.3, so I figured this is a bug.
Are you not supposed to use both the keyboard and mouse altogether to get more productivity out? I have this impression from FCEUX, where you can use both the keyboard for input recording and the mouse for editing while frame advancing in the TAS Editor.

System: Bizhawk 1.9.4 Stable Release
Operating System: Windows 8.1
Problem: TAStudio no longer record inputs after deleting a selection of old inputs
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Bizhawk.
View -> Enable Display Inputs.
Load any game.
Open TAStudio.
Hold any input down. I use "Down" key here.
Frame advance a few frames while holding down the input key. There should be a line of inputs in TAStudio.
Select all inputs.
Press DELETE key.
Hold any input down. Again, I use "Down" key here.
Frame advance a few frames while holding down the input key.
Notice that both the TAStudio and Bizhawk no longer receive inputs.
Expected Results: I am expecting to be able to record and re-record inputs multiple times after frame advancing and deleting selected old inputs[/b]

I see. Thanks for providing the link, but I still feel it is necessary to post the latest announcement for this emulator. In hindsight, I should've posted somewhere for emulator news.
If there is a mGBA main discussion thread, that would be great.

Ah, okay. In that case, then would it be too much if I suggest that there is a warning/short notice saying some features are not built yet in the TAStudio?
Without it, it may give off the impression that "it's there, but it's not" when one were to look at the Settings of the main window.

Whenever I instantly hit the Rewind hotkey, it will rewind a couple to some tens of frames back from where I am on the current frame, depending on how long (short) I am holding down the Rewind key.
Some trials and errors led me to believe that I may be doing something wrong, but can't figure it out by myself.
How do you rewind or go back by 1 frame per key press in Bizhawk for doing GBA TAS?

What kind of emulator did you use? In Bizhawk, 15 minute run makes around 9 KB.
I'm not sure what you're trying to do.
I used FCEUX 2.2.2 Stable, I saved the file as FM3, and it generated a 228KB file. When ZIPped, it is 200KB large.
The goal is to try to use as many different kinds of moves as possible in easiest mode, and showing what would happen if one were to try and break a plot device. (i.e., not allowing the enemy to run as intended.)

Hacked rom for english translation, easiest mode, and you say you're aware of not submitting that but you're trying to submit movie file?
Yes. The submission file limit is what confused me at first, and then after reading the guidelines, fan translation TAS isn't allowed. I just re-looked at the submission rules again. I think I know how to submit. If anything, I will hesitate a bit and wait, since I was asked not to submit playaround submissions. I thought any playaround TAS are okay before, now I realized it is really that hard to get approvals.

Hello everyone.
This is my first time joining the site. I have completed a TAS run on this game, but I didn't go for the fastest time.
This is my "Playaround" TAS run.
Unfortunately, since I used an English fan translation version of the Japan-only game, it is not allowed for submission to the TAS Video site.
So, here is the video. I am not sure where to put the 200KB TAS recorded file at, since the max limit is 150KB.
