I was wondering if Commander Keen should be made into a speed run, seeing as there is no current support for DOS speed runs. I would like to do it, since I really have no speed run experiance, and the game is really easy.

Since there wasn't a submission on this website yet, I thought it would be good if I made one for it.

One more thing though, Is it possible to save a movie from Youtube onto your hard drive? I'm having trouble downloading a speedrun for Super Smash Bros. I want to study how he did it.

I already knew about the whole "fast forward your movie to the end, and then start recording again", but what if you have a movie that is hours long. ( Example: Earthbound) Someone ought to make a utility to load movies at a certain time and allow re-recording without having to watch it every time. ( Unless I'm not looking hard enough again and it has already been done. Thank you for helping me out.

*shiver* How 'bout a speedrun of Santa's Workshop? Please don't say yes. I would die to never hear about that game again.

Yeah, Block Dude would rock as a speedrun. Although, i'm pretty sure it doesn't have any "walk through walls" glitches.

I have some other problems too. When I got the speedrun of Pokemon Red for Gameboy, and tried to unzip it, it was password protected. I tried using 7-zip to unzip it, and it worked, but the speedrun was not synced to the game. Also, on a different note, I was wondering if I could start a movie (in Mupen64) and save midway through, then close out and finish the movie later on. I know I can use a save state and reload it, but I can't close out of Mupen and come back later. (Note: I use the latest version of the Gamerboy emulator suggested, I might need the older one, and I use the latest version of re-recording in Mupen)

Well, being pretty dumb, I didn't think to download the moveset movies for the emulators, which I did to watch them. I am still having some problems, but I have to go, so I will talk about 'em later.

I found a solution. Thank you very much everyone for helping me out! By the way, Sonic is still one million times faster than Mario.

Okay, I need to be honest here. The reason I cannot use the right click button is because the library that I try to get the videos from- because they have DSL and I have dial-up, so you get why I use the internet there- has restriction software, so I can't use the right click or context menu key. I have yet to try the Folder Options fix, but I would appreciate any more support. Yes, the e-mail question was pretty bogus, but I was/am still desperate.

Yes, only left click. If you know where these "direct downloads" are, give me a link or something. Everytime I click the archive.org link, it does not download. It plays.

I need some help downloading movies. Long story short, my right-clicker does not work, so I cannot "save target as" or anything like that. I would like someone to email me the movies( in .avi format) if they can. The movies are: The Super Mario 64 in 15 minutes by Rikku, the Super Mario 64 120 Stars by Rikku, and the Sonic 2 in under 20 minutes movies. Please help me. I am 100% sure there is nothing else I could do.
