You really have to wait around for the XP to finish tallying after beating a palace? I thought it would keep tallying up whenever you restarted?

I wonder if it would be possible to make a ROLF only run be the fastest one, with luck manip. involved?
Probably not, it's undoubtedly more efficient to be able to attack with 4 people each round than just one, no?

Rofl, Frenom. keith_phillips, I'd be more interested in seeing a fastest completion run, or perhaps a fastest completion run with the stipulation that you have to keep Nei even after the Neifirst battle. (I think it's possible to do that.) I've actually done a Rolf only run on a console and it's not terribly difficult, and it's not as time consuming as you might expect, either, because he levels so fast alone. In fact, even in 4p console runs, once I reached Noah I used to go there with just Rolf to level him alone. (Megid until you run out of TP, Neisword back to Lutz, heal, return to Noah.)

My personal request is Sonic 3: Competition Mode. Such a run would be incredibly short, would have interesting glitches, and would doubtless be very easy for you to make. You have experience with Sonic games in addition to your general movie making experience, and the optimal paths are already known on all five levels. I second the vote for Phantasy Star II, as well, but only if you keep Nei until the end for kicks. (If it's possible. I believe it is.)

Maybe we could call them Khans, so that whenever console conservatives talk about us in righteous indignation, we get to hear them say KHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!

What if there is no direct link to the file? For example, it is accessed through a script like stream.scr?StreamID=12345.

What is the best way to capture streaming media from a website that plays in an embedded instance of Windows Media Player?

In honor of Master Bisqwit's Finnish heritage, and to recognize the well-known fact that we are all honorless sellouts who would sell our grandmothers for another way to cheat at games, I think we should call them Loppuunmyyty.

Snakes On A Plane has not yet been written in opera form.

The only bad thing I can possibly think of about Snakes On A Plane is that the movie didn't come out fifteen or twenty years ago. If it had, they would have made an old school game out of it and someone could make a Fabian for it. It'll be years before an emulator comes along that can make Fabians for modern consoles!

Both TAS and NATE are pejorative terms by their very ethnocentricity. How can we justify using an arbitrary English acronym? Rap and Fabians are the only transatlantic languages.

Yeah, and only we'd be able to call each other cheaters. If other people called us cheaters, it'd be racist or something.

You should come up with an acronym that spells out CHEAT or FAKE or something like that.

I've always gotten the impression that any submission will be accepted if people like it. So go ahead and make the TAS. If you think it looks good and enough people agree with you, odds are it will get published. I believe Bisqwit's guidelines aren't hard and fast rules ... they are more like a courtesy to keep people from wasting time on ideas that will most likely not be well received. The real question here is ... can you make an entertaining TAS with this game?

Bisqwit: Don't forget PHP gets minus points for dollar signs, underscores, and semicolons ;) . And you kind of prove my point by mentioning there is a problem with the code I found. That was the clearest way to access form variables I found in any tutorial until IdeaMagnate set me straight, and here you are saying the code doesn't even work. There are not similar problems with ASP (or PHP) because there simply isn't a way to make that task obfuscated or complex in those languages. Flagitious: I know you're just trying to feed the flame, here, but it's not the same at all. As I said before, PERL is the canonical scripting language for UNIX. UNIX textbooks dedicate chapters to PERL. Windows textbooks do not dedicate chapters to AOL. Anyways, the point of the thread wasn't really to knock on UNIX and Linux. My main goal was to: one, get someone to tell me a better way, and two, express my dissatisfaction that in the guise of learning about UNIX I am being forced to learn a disagreable language when much simpler, more intuitive, and equally powerful languages exist.

You have to register on the forums to play this game, but that's not such a hassle. http://www.tribalwar.com/forums/arcade.php?&act=Arcade&do=play&gameid=25 Is cacophobia the Motocross trick master?
