Fruit Falls Reroute are very fast & some more levels are very well done.
What a pity, when Pond jump, he lose a lot of speeds, but it's just a normal control for this game...

Oh thanks, I'm glad to view your commentary, for me, you are the alone man do the speedrun of this game correctly... When I have started this TAS, I have doing search on Youtube & more, but nothing, just 1 run playing by an German and not optimised... And more 2 year's after, When I have finishing my project, you post this run on Youtube, and you are clearly the best of 8 bit!!
The route plan, is always established in function to win time...For the enemies, it's more difficult, I started to make a LUA but I'm not a good knowledge for instant, i used my patience and to check, solution after solution, for obtain a good result, if i restart the hostility with this game, be sure than i use the LUA!!
Use sword long is for me the best solution, i checked 37 fights in the same conditions and it's more short with the sword.
I have not problem for run Yabause 2541 file on Win 8 & 10, just than the opening 2 windows for playing are bizarre...first window is for playing with emulator and the second resemble to a terminal for coding, but I'm not sure.
May be than your distribution is not up to date or deprecated for run this file?
I tried to install Yabause. But it tells me that SDL2.dll is missing from my computer (even though it is on the same file YB).
I goes to try install Yabause and give you a solution, what is your distribution?
I'm on Windows 8, 10, Linux fedora & Ubuntu...

I wanna make an TAS of Shinobi Legion (X), on SEGA Saturn, but it's difficult because the RAM search doesn't work on BIZHAWK 1.12.1 with the Yabause core...
he work well, with the anterior version (1.11.3), but, I think,he don't check the values frame by frame! Maybe than it's simply not possible?
Else question... US and Japanese versions don't run after have used BIOS for those regions, it's just possible to run European version! Why it doesn't work?

For me, watching the character dying endlessly, isn't entertaining. Seriously, you find than, watching 13 minutes of animations where hero die, it's entertaining?

Je peux tenter de le faire. Mais la meilleur solution (a mes yeux) c'est de le mettre sur un pastebin ou quelque chose du genre pour que tout le monde puisse essayer de le traduire et tu prendras celui qui te semble être le meilleur.
Au passage, si tu m'envoie ton movie file, je peux te l'encoder pour que tu l'ajoutes au texte de soumission
Si tu te sens de le faire, moi ça me va! Honnêtement mon anglais n'est pas terrible et si le texte avait été court je me serrais débrouillé, mais là c'est bien trop long pour moi!

Je viens de terminer le TAS de "Golden axe warrior" sur SMS, et je cherche encore de l'aide (et c'est peut dire!) pour traduire mon ROMAN intitulé: "comment passer 3 plombes sur un TAS et autant sur son texte de soumission" Lol...
...Vous l'aurez compris le texte est bien garni, car s'agissant d'un RPG action/aventure à la Zelda sur Nes et ayant passé une plombe à travailler dessus, il y a forcément beaucoup de choses à raconter sur celui-ci (plan de route, tricks, glitch...).
Sachant que je n'aie toujours pas bouclé ce texte a l'heure où je fais cette demande, je ne le donnerais donc pas de suite, car j'ai encore pas mal de tableau explicatif à créer et quelques explications, qui viendront s'ajouter à celui-ci.
Je laisserais bien entendues tout le temps nécessaire pour oeuvrer à la personne qui me rendrait ce grand service.
After reading all of comments on this run I think it's a cheat code, it's just made for helping the programors to check the game, but the gamers have find this and now it's become a cheat code.I'm sure the game genie have those modifications of ram addresses for obtain this result.
It's not a cheat code, it is a glitch that allows you to access the debug menu. The following must occur for this to be the case
- be at full health
- have exactly 62 bombs in your inventory
- last enemy killed is the grey type (toughest regular enemy)
- facing downward
- background track has completed once
Then when you try to use an energy tank, you unlock the debug menu, which allows you to access the level select screen.
Ok it's very good for a "game & glitch" categorie :)
When you have submit, I think you have forgotten to explain this major glitch for understand your run.

Ok it' a great run, but is it a cheat code you used for skip directly to final level or not?
For me it's an quickly method for access to the debug mode in this game!

Autant pour moi, il devait être sous mes yeux et je n'ai pas tilté...donc grace à lapogne36, gamerretro2 à une ébauche à se mettre sous la dent.
Après hâte toi lentement sur ce run, qui est la seule sur laquelle tu peux te référer, elle pourrait t'induire en erreur (ou pas!).
@zoboner Je suis d'accord x) J'ai essayé de TAS un jeu avec seulement une soluce sur le net très mal faite, c'était un cauchemar et j'ai vite arreté
D'où le fait de choisir un jeu que l'on apprécie et auquel on a sûrement déjà joué, après rien n'empêche de partir à l'aveugle sur un coup de coeur, mais ça reste tout de même plus tendu!
