Awesome project! Are you alone to make this TAS?

It displays some of the game's mechanics and tricks (though it is already out of date and very sloppy at times, the main reason this is my best run is good RNG and lack of practice since). It is also the WR by default, though anybody could beat it with a little practice and good RNG.
What are the RNG factors for this game? If you are interested, I made the first level : https://youtu.be/nJgE0Rn47wE

Yeah, and it's for all of this optimizations, that I think it's very good and execute! Have you try to know how the RNG run to loot cards? I want said, can you explain exactly how it run, or it's just an theory?

Hi zoboner, the skipped spring actually leads to a bonus level, so I skip it because it's a waste of time. There is no way to skip a key, because it's the reward for beating the level. For example, if you finish a level but only had 3/4 of the cards, you have to restart the whole level. So there is no choice, you have to collect the key to continue.
Ok, So, I voting yes. This game is a run genre assimilate to auto-scrolling, but you can affect the speed with a numerous objects and you make a very well execution. I find it's nice to watch, even if the artistic direction help to entertaining, in particular with all jokes who appear at some moments. Don't forgot, all manipulations for take cards more easilly and quickly, all tricks to gain speed and finish fast as possible.

How do I end a movie on FCEUX, LSNE, BizHawk, and DeSmuMe? I was confused.
Hi and welcome, Your movie must go to the credits, You must stop your TAS at the last input. Ex:You push "B" button to kill the last boss and if you haven't need to do a new input to start credits, then "B" is your last input and you can stop your movie at this point.

Hi This run is fun! I have two little questions for you... In level 2, why you don't take the 3rd springs? And to open the jail at the end, Have you need of more 1 key? Because you manipulate to can open at first try, so what's use for the other keys? You can't just take one key to finish and won time?

You can congratulate yourself to have make a perfect run. Very fast and impressive, I had a smile when I watch the run time, because in reality I think it's not possible to make a faster run than this ! You had do all of I believed possible for beat the game fast and now it's a sérious T.K.O for this run. Hight punch are very optimised and all rounds are nice executing to have the best RNG. I didn't expect less from you! Yes vote!

Interesting thought: If someone comes up with a way to modify the Xbox itself to record/run TASes (and people allegedly have modified Xboxes before), then the legalistic issues become moot (he would be using an Xbox to play the game, which is fully legal) and the software would be getting executed in the Xbox itself.
Héhé, it would be excellent to can do it, directly on xbox! In more, like you said, it is possible to execute iso files directly on the console, in doing a small modification ( add a USB port in hardware and use splinter cell ), this is very easy and run very well! Question is, who want to create an TAS menu for to play and TAS in game, when you know, that it's just interesting for TASers? That's not impossible, but find an motivated coder for it... Maybe with a cheat code, lol!

This is on my to-do list of things to fix in the SMS core. The game is being played in GG mode (you can see in the movie header that IsGameGear is set to true) but it just isn't setting the system ID to Game Gear.

The IsGGMode flag in the header should be recognized by the site parser to denote a GG movie, it just didn't apply it for some reason. Looks like that specific fix wasn't deployed on the live site somehow.
Ok, I understand... In fact, this is not very important, but when I watched this run on Bhawk, I seen "SMS" and I believed as a bug or than I had use a bad ROM. I have a little question, on Metal Island , when you fight bunny boss, Have you manipulate her comportment? Because you stop to hit and restart to hit after some times. I think it's for manipulate her carrot rockets and save time, but I have not more knowledges on this game.

For anyone interested, the solution appears to be located at $3082, $3084 in RAM. I haven't worked out what value goes to which person. The solution appears to be calculated around frame 836 in the movie.
Thanks to give that. I'll do study that but I'm occupied to study an other game, is it possible to save that in game resource ?

Cool game and nice run. voting yes. Why your movie file give SMS, then than it's an GG game ? Bizhawk don't doing the difference when you play SMS or GG ? I'm sure this question is dumb, but I prefer know why !

Why is 'learn something' a less valid goal than 'save the princess', 'kill everyone else', or 'click on Waldo's picture' as a game goal?
I think it's easy to do the difference between educational and entertainment. When you "save the princess", you learn nothing; when your objective is to kill them all, so it's clearly not educative and when you must "click on waldo's pictures" it's just a reflex's question, nothing else, in do those manipulations you don't studie math or grammar ... Nash have the best explanation, when he said "This is just dressing up a calculator or dictionary, and it's not a game". It have a great difference between play to learn and play to beat the game, because in first case, it call for some knowledges, then that in the 2nd case you haven't need of particular knowledges to play. First is an exercise tool and second is a game. This is the reason who fact it's not valid to TASing, because it's not a game, play isn't the main objetive, it's just an illusion to learn. HéHé, sorry but I hadn't seen the second page of this thread... All opinions are very interesting!

The only chance for this game, would be to make a run enough entertaining for the Moons standards. For example a "maximum score" run would be a good idea, since that would also mean to do much more stuff during bonus stages.
I agree, this game genre should be doing for entertaining more than to beat the game fast and I'm sure it's totally possible with a good motivation. Héhé in France it have an expression "demander la lune" = "to ask too much", maybe that I search too much entertainment, when I watch some videos! Merry Christmas, at you and all of people on TASvideos.

Héhé! Honestly, I think bonus levels is a good reason to reject this... No move, no entertainment! ThunderAxe31's judgement is neat! For me this game is vaultable but should be more studying and should to move in those bonus levels. I can understand that you aren't satisfy by this decision, because vault don't need more entertainment than moons or stars.
