Turtles time again.
I used FCEu to do this because Famtasia crashes when entering the Technodrome fight.
In my previous run I had 2 clumsy flaws. I grabbed 2 ladders in the middle instead of grabbing it at the side, meaning I lost some frames. So why is this version 38 seconds faster?
Most of the time comes from actually use death as a shortcut. I didn't use that in my previous run because I thought it would look sloppy. But it doesn't really and it saves around 20 seconds.
Next big timesaver is the technodrome. I managed to move it this time and this saved me quite some time. However, the randomness in this game is teh_stupid. I tried everything to be able to affect the position of the Technodrome but whatever I tried I found it impossible to change it. For example killing more enemies, killing less enemies, using second weapon (it affect stuffs sometimes) etc. Only exception was when I on purpose waited for like 1 minute before killing the mouse boss. But that's not worth it.
In this version I also managed to reduce lag. I kill more enemies and manipulates some to act like I want to cause less lag. I don't know how much time exactly that saved me but it looks much smoother now.
Also I got the suggestion to jump moreon the conveyor belts. I thought this would be a bad idea since in most cases I would have had banged my head into the ceiling, causing me to stop for a few frames. But it turned out to be faster to jump anyways.
Finally, in the Dam I took loads of damage to save time. This resulted in 1 time unit faster completition of it. In my previous run I had 1.14 left when disarming the last bomb. Now I have 1.15. Also my second last hit might look a bit sloppy but I had to swim in that evil electric sea-grass (?) to be able to use the same turtle (he's pretty useless anywyas ;P) to die with.
Oh and I have to climb downwards on one ladder because else I couldn't avoid that hedgehog and that would have messed things up in the Technodrome later on.
I think that was it for now.
  • Aims for fastest time
  • Manipulates luck
  • Takes damage to save time
  • Uses death as a shortcut
Hope you enjoy it.

I could imagine that the desynch while playing the fcm-file is either a bad ROM or a different version of the emulator. But I don't really know. Edit: I just checked the fcm and it runs fine with FCEu here. Do you have Teenage Mutant NINJA Turtles? Instead of Teenage Mutant HERO Turles? That's one reason I could think of.

B.A.L.: This movie was made using a different version of FCEU than you were using to play it. Normally that's not a problem (between these two versions), but this is a game that was affected by mapper/emulator corrections made between them. Use this FCEU to play this movie: http://www.filespace.org/blip/fceu-0.98.12-blip.win.rar

Ok, finally got it 2 work, and WOW! :| :D Nicele done with the boomerang on the dam, as someone said earlier. Swimming level absolutely great, how you get through the coral with being hit one time, I always get hurt 5 times or so :P And of course great how you ''dare'' to take so much damage just to save a little bit of time, you must have practiced this for weeks! Then the level with the bus, dying to save time, incredible! :D Furthermore perfect use of the missiles, really can't see how you can do this whole level any better. Also nice how fucking fast you beat both the bosses, I hate them. (^^,) Airport level, where it really starts to get tough, and where you really start to get good, you seem to know every level from beginning to end, you get hit one time, but I don't know if that was to save time or just an accident. A bit cheating with the boss I see, you seem to press start or something to be able to hit him evenwith his mouth shut, but hell, that boss is too easy anyway. Footclan level, just great how you are able to avoid so many enemys and kill that many enemys so quickly, just _O_ and then the technodrome boss, you make it look so fucking easy! :P Then the technodrome level. Taking damage at the spikes and basically getting trough half the level with just 1 block of health, damn! :D Jumping back and forth trough the entire level, great, especially at the yellow part, where the manipulating luck thing really comes in handy, with the rocket powered jet guys ;) And then Shredder itself, he is so easy, and you make him look even more easy! :P Thanks for the show!

Yes... the movie is great, but B.A.L.: you do know how the movie was created right? If not, check the FAQ at the top of your screen, on why and how these movies are made.

Yeah, but only ''Manupulating Luck'' was used with this movie right?

Also my second last hit might look a bit sloppy but I had to swim in that evil electric sea-grass (?) to be able to use the same turtle (he's pretty useless anywyas ;P) to die with.
That hit was deliberately to lose health so that Raphael could die faster on the next level, right? I think you could have also switched from Donatello to Raphael one health point earlier, and avoided taking that hit (just to look less sloppy).

Something's wrong...the video desyncs in FCE in the dam stage, during the second miniboss fight...and for some reason I can't watch the AVI...says the divx codec is needed, even though I have that codec.

I'm having trouble seeing this movie. Is there any special codec I need to see it?
