Well, Phil said that he already saved 27 seconds in the first 4 levels. He also said that you found some good tricks, but you often didn't use them wisely enough, maybe because you were worried about rerecord count. There may be more bugs to find still!

Our 1p warpful run is near to be completed, we are at the final boss. This boss is not evident due to a lot of randomness but expect a 1:25 improvent over your run. Because right now, we are 1:20 faster than you.

I have just finished stage 1 and it's 235 frames faster than FODA did. Here is my WIP run: http://hiddendragon.sytes.net/Battletoads%20(U).zip I am waiting some commentaries before continuing. Note that in the current video, the rerecord count is high. The reason, I took our current warpfull run because the beginning is the same.

i would remove the wobblying with the animal (wait a sec, the only human in this game is dark queen hehe). i meant the dragon thingy also did you take the 1 up because you had to manipulate luck on the boss?

I took the 1-up for fun. Also, being hit, during the boss fight, is just for fun because when hit, the rock is thrown. So, IMO it looks cool.

I love it! Please continue, and kill yourself at the end of every level possible. My only complaint is that no one uses the 5-life code. :)

But why using that code?

Well it doesn't add any time unless you need to lose your lives. I don't think it's against any rules. So it would just another little trick to show off.

After stage 2, I am 947 frames faster than FODA. Almost 16 seconds faster. I didn't obtain as much points as him but who cares, I gain 12 seconds over him in this stage.

yes mostly by not using the beak :P there are over 100 beak hits on my movie :S using the feet doesnt stop the screen for that long, but you could have got more points even not using the beak? or it was something else?

The kick doesn't have a long range like the beak and also, the toads is advancing when kicking.

I would like but I am losing frames doing this. Unless people insist. Anyway, in stage 1 and 5, I kill myself.
