Emulator: Snes 9X V 1.43 Warps: Uses None Errors: Uses None Takes hit in Bonus level to save time Aim for fastest time
The making of this movie was alot harder then the last one. In this one, I tried idea's that the viewers gave me.
Level 1: 2 seconds quicker. New Kicking techneque on Skele's. Level 2: 5 seconds quicker. Kill snakes with one shot of the hover and Juggles a Bee to gain an extra life. Bonus 1: Aimed for most pins before dieing. Level 3: The same. Level 4: The same. Level 5: Might be a second quicker, or at least a few frames. Bonus 2: Collect a few Dominoes before dieing. Level 6: Im not really sure if this is faster. it might be. Boss Level: Alot faster. Hits boss twice before she dissapears whenever possible.

That's not what I meant by the Castlevania hint. Have neither of you payed any attention at all how to handle "bonuses" or "extras" from it?

What I'm talking about appears in all of Bisqwit's later attempts at Castlevania and in the duo's version as well. Although it's a lot more obvious if you've watched the progression of Bisqwit's runs.

Does it have to do with the end of a level? Is it grabbing the ball faster? Is it making the point tally/health refill faster? I don't know

Why do we have to be so cryptic? This is somewhat halting a run because of cryptic talking.

Yeah, don't be The Riddler. Just tell us a technique or don't.

Im going to be a Riddler myself. I actually found a glitch :O . This WILL improve it if i can ever get it to work. I have done it before, but only twice. I am trying everything i can to see if i can get it again. May improve the video by maybe 30 seconds.. Maybe more. Until then, I wish Nach would reveal his secret.

Nach is alluding to how Castlevania movies tend to discard all extra hearts/jewels before the level is over in order to avoid the tallying time afterwards. If the points at the end of the bonus are tallied out, that takes extra frames. I don't see why he has to be so cryptic about these sorts of things, though. His attempts to give advice end up giving everyone more grief than it is worth.

but thats obvious, doesnt vatchern do that? i think its more clear on my adventure island run since its the main point of the run to get least bonus possible.

So.. If now i have to discard all of my pins i collected(which means i shouldn't get any unless i ruin the fun of not getting hit) that basically takes the entertainment outta that.

can you zig zag the pins and go through the middle of those that are positioned diagonnaly? that would look good

Ok.. I think im going to cancel this submission now. I have found a new Techneque on the Level 1 Boss which makes the fight 125 frames quicker. And im pretty sure, I can complete Level 2 without letting the screen stop. so that may increase it by another 120 frames.

Allright! Thats good news Vatchern. I really like the sound of it. I hope that I'm not breaking you down when I throw my critiques at you. I only want you to make the best possible. :)

Yeah.. My biggest challenge is going to try and make a 1P time attack faster then a 2P. I have an idea. with the glitch i am going to use, if it works out right, it may be possible. Until then, I shall do level 2. I'm so far into it and no stopping yet. and i checked my old version, and s far i dont stop where i stopped before. so thats a good sign.

Sounds great Vatchern. Keep up the flow. I'm eager to see your progress as always. :) Still curious how a 1p run can beat a 2p run. I'll guess I have to wait to see that.

Well, I dunno how im going to do it Highness, but i will. Ok, right now I'm 3:59 in. From my last movie, I am 427 frames ahead, but i think i am stuck at one point which is really bothering me. But, i will continue trying.
