no, it made me say to myself this guy claims he can beat it at lvl 7 by 'manipulating luck' which is total crap. movie after movie i watch and it's the same thing..there's no awe to it.

You are right, but the main purpose of this site is not to get up strats for normal speedruns, it is just to provide entertainment, and to show how quickly a game can be beaten theoretically. If you want to see human playing skill, get to SDA ( www.speeddemosarchive.com ).

I know this site is ment for the people who never finished a game withought cheating and all, but what if (like me) I enjoy seeing glitches more then cheats. I know game genie gives you 3 lines for codes and noticed he used stupid AI or something with quick level up (for some reason I watched it running on turbo lol) But it does look rather stupid to finish a game from start to finish when there is nothing possible in the movie. (exellent hits all the time....lame) yes it made me go WTF but unlike the castlevania 3 jap movie, this was really pitifull. at least the castlevania 3 (j) video was someone with real skill that could fly by the whole stage and kill the boss with only 2 hits left. "that" is a speed run. I checked that link (sd) it doesnt use emulator related video's. I'm thinking of recording Ninja Gaiden (1st one) with no cheats AT ALL. I will post it when I am done. could this web site create a new category for speed runs by real players? if not, no prob some of these kick ass!

Well, you have to just trust the players, the legitimity cannot be proved. And, please don't use the term "cheaters" for our bunch.

heh, you are right, yeah ;/ But I think you can generally really trust most players here, so don't hesitate to do some competition just because you doubt the authentity of it all.

There have been several hundreds of cases were speedrunners have taken ideas from a TAS and vice versa. Read the http://tasvideos.org/WhyAndHow.html page, if you havent read that page, do it now, dont just ignore it. If you are still unsatisfied well I guess you know what to do...
