You know, I saw these days Sprintgod's SoR2 speedrun, and I just thought I really wanted to have a SoR3 movie in my videos folder. I know I'm just repeating, but I cannot not ask >_>. How is the run going? Is there something new about it? I don't see anything else to say but that your run is the number one I'm waiting for. Good luck!

Sorry for not updating in a while. I worked a little on the run, but I'm still far far away from finishing Stage 4 Scene 1. And unfortunately this weekend I won't have access to my computer. I'll try to work on it when I can.

Good. Anyway I wanted to give a little tip : I didn't know how I made that, and I don't think I'll be able to do it again, but Blaze (it can be any other player I don't know) just went through the car. I moved a little bit in front of the car, then I didn't move until the car went through me. It would be nice to see some kind of things like that. Anyway I deleted by mistake the third of 4-1 and your link is dead, can I have the run on the internet from anybody here please?

The link is working perfectly. Thanks a lot for your first post Sound Reaper, now I can see again one minute of perfect ownage 0_0 . Guess I'll give some other opinions on 4-1's entertainment moves, or on 4-3, but glad : 1. you are working on the run no matter how fast 2. you decided not to redo stage 1 Good luck atro city Repost edit : I got some stuff to provide some more fun about 4-1 but I wonder if it's gonna be useful, considering that atro city may be in the end of 4-1. The car trick is somehow trying to be solved, but I didn't manage to reproduce Blaze getting through the car, or Zan punching right when on the far left of the screen when the car comes from the left, allowing him to get through the car without jumping. You can use the "dumb Zack" trick at 5-3 (the elevator), but I wonder if it's possible to joke without losing time.

but I wonder if it's gonna be useful, considering that atro city may be in the end of 4-1. Yeah, I wish. In reality, I still have yet to finish the first set (out of three...rediculous) of enemies. I did work on it some yesterday, and 2 hours of work for less than 5 seconds of gameplay is just no fun. The car just has a goofy hit box that seems like a regular box rather than a parallelogram like it's supposed to be. I already demonstrated this in what I did yesterday by pretty much doing what you did, only it was useful for doing more damage to an enemy (i.e. getting a flying chop in on a Zack before he gets run over). Dumb Zack trick? You mean the one where he punches from off the screen and hits nothing? It might be possible to implement it without losing any time, but with Zack's stupid AI, I just want to kill the bastards and move on with as little pain as possible. Well, I have to say I'm surprised there are people out there who are still supporting my lazy ass. I really appreciate it. Hopefully progress will speed up once I get the Zacks out of the way and deal with normal enemies with normal AI gain.

About the Zacks trick : No I meant the one when Zack gets Blaze and doesn't succeed to hit her with his head. Here. About your lazyness : Lol, you know, I know how it feels when you're trying to get your damn speedrun done, and when every day you just made 5 secs of real-time gaming. I say this is normal. And I know how it feels when nobody's there to support your run. Just thought I could put my two cents at every post >_> .

Oh, that one. I guess it'd be neat to show the first few Goldie punches go right through me at the beginning of 5-3 while the other enemies get on the elevator.

Well, finals are done now, and although I won't have internet access again until June 1st, I'll have plenty of spare time on my hands. If all goes well, I should be able to at least complete Stage 4 Scene 1 before I get back. So, until then. Edit: Oh yeah, and if any of you guys care (which is doubtful), I looked closer at the insides of my old computer and discovered that both sticks of RAM were Kingston ValueRAM. I looked on Newegg and these sticks had over 500 positive reviews. The reboots could've been because there was a lot of dust on various parts (CPU heatsink, graphics card, IDE cables, and the whole bottom of the case), or because of the 200W power supply (yes, 200 watts...I was shocked, too). But then again, maybe it's because it was an old crappy Dell in the first place.

I'm really looking forward. Don't get too hasty though :P . Really, do use any kind of trick with the car. It's really impressive to run through the car without getting hit, or anything else. Oh and about your computer : I think the reason is the 200 W power supply. Sometimes my home got shut down because I was turning on my compy, but my compy was an old crappy Dell too >_> . Repost edit : I can't hold still. The day is about to be June 1st, and each second brings us closer to a part of a run everybody may be looking for... *drum roll*

I don't care about the fact that you didn't get until end of 4-1, just for more SOR3 : <3. That's all. I DLed it, the links works great. Now I'm going to watch it dum dee dum... EDIT : Awesome. I was really amazed by all the speed and moves you can pull out of both characters in order to damage enemies like hell does. The three Garcias trick was fun, no better way to begin with IMO. I saw some interesting moment about the car trick, but still no getting through, well I wonder what you are going to do with it. After all, getting through the car is just completely random so I would understand if you were about to complete that part fast (real time I mean >_>). So again good work, and good luck. EDIT 2 repost : People might want this : Savestate Stage 4 I also want to talk again about hexediting : I really think there should be an edit of the options part and the Bruce&Roo fight because I want that TAS to be a complete success and, well the Bruce and Roo fight is the only part that was boring compared to everything else, considering that it could've been a lot faster and more entertaining. Atro city, if you're too busy to redo these parts, I might be able to do them, with entertainment for Bruce and Roo fight being more important than time, and with as less changes as possible (same ending with Bruce, showing for 5 secs the original strategy), but I don't really know how to hexedit. If there is a savestate problem then we'll proceed once the run is finished. What do you think?

I think it'd be best to do that when I get to Stage 6, because I plan to hex-edit the switch room the second time around, since there's really no point in me doing the exact same scene again and getting a different (and possibly imperfect) result. But until then, I don't really know anything about hex-editing either.

Hex editing is just like editing a text file, other than that you use a hex editor.

I think that you should opt for variation instead of being as fast as possible all the time. I'm also not sure if there really are no random factors so that cutting and pasting a scene like that will work. I liked the new set of enemies anyhow, keep it up.

The first link thats meant to lead to the 2p is just this page (lol). The 1p run wasn't perfect, but its I understandable because of the boring factor. I don't know how that could of been done in so few re-records considering how hard this game is. The only scrolling beat em up I would like to do is Die Hard Arcade, thats if a good Saturn emulator with re-record and slowdown becomes available. There would be so much variation since there is a vast amount of special moves and combos.

I've contiually clicked on the 2p link and it still this page couldn't you or someone else upload it to rapidshare as it only takes a few seconds of your precious time considering the size of the file will only be a few hundred kilobytes.
