Hey Frenom. It seems Terimakasih isn't going to make a new version. Feel like doing one?
I have already started too do an another run of it. But I dont know when it is finished. Right now I am at Phantoom(20:36 Realtimeclock) and if I am comparing with my ex-published run I entered the door at 21:06. And if I am comparing with Terimakasih's run he had 18:36(Realtimeclock) at the door. Now... remember that he didnt have any intro in his movie and the intro is 2min and 10seconds long. Add 2:10 sec into 18:36 and you will get 20:46 which is 10seconds of inprovments. Its just too bad that I am so busy all the time with my job and soo on. And it aint going too be any better now that I have bought Tales of Symphonia to GC :)
Wheeeehaaa.. Yaaayy..

is it possible to use same glitch used in final battle to skip all 4 bosses straight to final boss!? (video slot 8) (major glitch tho) i think that it might wont work, it looked like this guy used cheat code to gain everything (this guy have everything and sucks at playing) this guy made demostration (on zsnes), hosted on ftp://shadowzerosoftware.ath.cx/ ... filename need to be metroid3.zip (just rename it), and load 4, 5, 6, 8. if it is possible, maybe make it seperate run... almost glitchless run and glitchy run?

Well considering you need plasma you need to kill atleast the water boss. But you could TECHNICALLY skip all the other bosses. Although using the time/space beam isn't considered proper in console based runs, and imo shouldn't be in emulated runs. Plus doesn't the glitch required crash the console?

Hi ~ Metroid fans Sorry to replay so late. I am busy in these recent days. It's a long story to talk about that run. That run had made a great player throw her hand. I felt that regret a bit. So I just keep in a low posture... I havent enjoyed Terimakasih's play. Good Work ! I'll take some time enioying it today.

Thank you about your impressions! I think that the record is achieved by your real-power,isn't it? (My movie is used Many-Emulator's-Functions.) So, your time(1:07) is great! You are one of the greatest-player,I think so. To all I tried to make 'The Ceres-Station of the fastest-escape.'. (Between Start and End of Count-Down.)http://type.s31.xrea.com/info/logimg/metroid/SMetroidCeres.zip (Used SuperMetroid(JU)) The rest time is 47sec 09'. May I ask anyone, Is this the fastest, or not? This is just a test. I'm not starting to make a new movie(^^;)

So half a second is a rather big improvement after all. Maby you could shave off a minute or two in the whole run? =)

That should be possible, I watched both movies at the same time, and saw some places where there were errors in 4th run, and faster in 3rd run. Especially last boss, he dies all the way at the left wall in 4th run, and has to walk over half the screen before he dies. If you could get boss to die almost in middle, then you would save another 5-10 seconds.

Yes, so, this is a just hobby. (or an interest.) I wonder that 'what time is fastest in Ceres?'

Yes. But, I'm not making a new movie. This is a just an interest.(^^;)

60sec or 120sec? No, If I try again, I will able to shave off about 15seconds. I think that I can't reach 00:27.

If you make a new, improved version, may I have a request? I simply wonder if you cold use bombs to stay in air when you are in ball shape (bouncing at/from the bombs). For example when you wait for the 4 statues to explode/vanish before entering Tourian. This doesn't affect anything but it would look really cool because I know this is very hard to perform! If you don't want to perform this it's ok anyways ;) I think your run is VERY impressive as it is right now! Good luck man!

I know that 'air-bomb-trick' has two-pattern. One of the pair is easy. (I did not use this pattern in my movie.) the other is difficult. (I used this pattern once, in Norfair.(near the Hi-Jump-Boots-room)) Which do you say...?

Don't worry, If I make a new, I will use it for you.(^^)

Hajimemashite (This is unfortunately the only "hello how are you?"-phrase I know in japanese. And the word "neko" which has nothing to do with it at all ;P

If you have the energy of doing this, I mean, it doesn't affect the run at all, it simply would look cool, I would like any of these ;)

I'll try to make my ceres. I need some free time. I'll e-mail to you with subject "Ceres Station - jecy" when I completed it. After you have finished this play(that's a good run), you just need to take a rest. Someday maybe your interest arises again. (forgive my poor English, I hope I can say it better)

Arigato for the movie! Anyone ever thought of doing a No Damage Run (apart from when necessary)? This would be what I would like as a superplay movie. I've been thinking of it for a while, but don't know enough to actually do the run without guidance. BTW, that would also mean beating Ridley at the beginning as it just saves time by losing damage to end the battle quickly. I'll see if I can start something this weekend.

I don't think I would enjoy that kind of run. Since taking damage in this game helps shaving off minutes. I don't think a non-damage run would be THAT impressive. What you could do is to make a 100% item run though. :)

Yeah, no kidding. No damage would be pretty pointless, since it would just be the same thing, except Samus wouldn't bump into stuff and it would take longer. I like when taking damage has to be planned out strategically. It's like the time I was considering making a run of Rainbow Senshi Miracle Kid--oops, I mean Rockman--without using any special weapons unless I absolutely had to. But then I realized it was pointless to try that because the main thing that makes Rockman games interesting is using newly acquired weapons effectively to finish the job faster. Avoiding the other weapons would just be unskillful.

Or you could do a 14% run...
