I like the new name of this topic. Though it could've probably been elaborated further: New HACK for Masters!!! HACKED Super Metroid Impossible (HACK) ← THIS IS A HACK!

Thanks ZeXr0, makes it much easier to watch the run now.

No problem, anyway I already watch about 4:30 of your run. I'm a little crazy about watching video game :P and as I do that, I can encode it, even if there's no sound, that's not really a problem, but I'll try adding sound to every other new encoding I'll do. Anyway ;)

it looks like draygon is pretty much impossible without cheating. it might be possible with an insane amout of practise, but i've been trying all day and it's not working. those things on the side are just too unpredictable. i'm skipping it for now.

After watching this movie I'm not very impressed with this hack at all....yeah it may be hard but it sucks compared to Redesign.....its pretty much the same game only switched around slightly as Redesign was essentially a whole new game!! thumbs down, I could care less if this is attempted..
Umm, but the point was to take Super Metroid and make it very hard, nearly impossible compared to the original — not to make it a new game or something. Also, not to TAS it. I don't know how have you missed it.

Yep because I didn't start to record it until I was where it starts :)

Hey man I was just voicing my opinion...you don't have to be so mean about it.
One person correcting you in a non-insulting manner is not someone being mean and stifling your ability to elucidate an opinion. This post, on the other hand, should be taken with great offense.

I've managed to get to the lake before the Wrecked Ship. There is no way I'm going to bother diagonal bomb jumping across it. I quit.

I find it easier just to use the pause trick to skip all of the tough action parts (or the entirety of Dungeons for that matter).

i found that the golden torizo is incredibly easy if you have enough super missiles.

I just found it a bit rude to voice the opinion while completely missing the point of both the hack itself and this thread at all. Both due to inattention, I suppose.

it seems i'm missing 7 items: the missile and super missile in the maridia room before botwoon, the missile behind the crumble blocks before the blue gate in brinkstar, 2 other missile sets, an energy tank, and the x-ray scope. any hints?

You might want to check the Metroid 2002 topic if you haven't already. I can't be sure that you'll find any answers there though, since I stopped reading after page 5.

i read it through and didn't find anything, though someone said that they got to the missile in the snail room by "glitching" through the blocks, which is something i don't know how to do.

I'd like to follow your progress, even if I won't be of any help. Are you planning on doing the full amount of sequence-breaks? (well.. space jump early. maybe speed booster early, if you can scrape enough tanks.)

Speed booster is kinda useless until after Maridia. I guess taking it after Draygon is the only viable choice due to not having to backtrack.
