You weren't serious with this, right? Slowdown and fastforward has nothing to do with actual timing, much like the framerate of a video tape doesn't magically change if you fastforward it. It is then reflected by video output, which always runs at the emulator's default rate.

I wasn't being truly serious, I was trying to say that the timing of an emulator is arbitrary, by using an exagerated example.
