Here's a new record in 25:24.32. Though the original author gave us an inaccurate time - 25:18.9. I've given it a playback with dolphin 5.0. It's real. Link to video

Don't worry, we can replace your movie file in the current submission. Please upload the new movie file here: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/my#uploadfile
my personal page - my YouTube channel - my GitHub - my Discord: thunderaxe31 <Masterjun> if you look at the "NES" in a weird angle, it actually clearly says "GBA"

FadeVanity just got a 24:29 RTA WR in Any%, and he apparently did a strat in the Bowser Jr fight that's faster than TAS: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/414352300?t=19m43s

Hi, my name is lachurs and currently I am top level nsmbw runner. Recently however, I have been delving into things that could save time in both any% and cannonless. I would love to create a tas for canonless but I really struggle with getting my head around everything. Im messaging here to see if anyone would like to help out in any way?

Yes. What do you need help for, specifically? For starters, the emulator to use is Dolphin, preferably the 5.0 stable release version. For more informations, read this thread. For questions relative to Wii TASing in general, post in the relative forum.

Oh I understand a decent chunk to do basic stuff, buts its about being more efficient I think is my problem. And yes, I do use the most recent version of dolphin. I was wondering if anyone would like to helpout in someway on some sort of project. I know I have a few friends within the nsmbw community who would be down but would like to hear from an expert (if any would like to say anything).

I don't believe it is strictly speaking a Speedrun, but it does sure as heck fit the 'superplay' definition of TAS for me, and something I've been hoping for since I first saw the co-op feature in the game. Pretty chaotic. A 4 player all star coins wip to the end of world one by GregLvk. Link to video

I wondered if Chinese version is allowed. So can anybody answer me this question?

Wiki: MovieRules#UseTheCorrectVersionOfAGame
Any official release of a game is allowed as long as you can explain your choice, and as long as that version is easily available for verification.
So yes, but you should have a good reason for using it, otherwise the English version is preferred.

is it not possible to get all the big 3 coins as well? it would feel incomplete not to get all stages unlocked to keep getting more coins, but it does look pretty cool.
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general

Not sure what you are refering to here. In the video posted all the Star Coins (ie "the big 3 coins" in each level) are collected. The notification at 19.15 in the YouTube video confirms this, so the extra stage for World 1 will be unlocked at at the post game world 9. The only other 'stages' that are not visited are those Mushroom houses wich are just bonus mini games for extra items, rather then actual levels. Anyway, for those intrested, GregLvk has recently posted World 2 for the 4-Players 100% TASuperplay. Link to video
