Game Resources / NES / Star Wars

Star Wars is a 1991 game for the NES. It was succeeded by The Empire Strikes Back.

There are three types of levels in this game:

Useful RAM addresses

Address Name
004D Major X coordinate
004C Minor X coordinate
004B Major Y coordinate
004A Minor Y coordinate
0320 X speed (absolute)
6085 Y speed (absolute)
0729 Health
0737 Number of shields

Coordinates are 16-bit values. To get the full value, multiply the Major value by 256 and add the Minor value.

Coordinates, speed and health are only useful in the 2D levels. Number of shields is only applicable in the first 3D level, and will always be 0 in a TAS.
