bisqwit, your name is speld rong. biscuits aren't pronounced like that. the real finnish spelling should be "biskit". there is no "w" in biscuit.
edit: spelling
Is any celebration or recognition planned for movie #1000? Will publication be stalled until an extremely good movie comes, so it can be made #1000?
Warp asked me approximately the same thing.
The thing is, unfortunately, I'm bad at planning any kind of rewards. I'd gladly delegate that to someone else :P
So no, unless someone else does it, nothing is coming.
Do you think there are other forms of life in space? Why?
I think it is possible. It would be religious to say that there aren't, considering no proof is given either way. In this aspect, I believe in the scientists.
What is the worst avatar you've seen on this forum?
Your question lacks the vital components of the sentence, such as the predicate and the subject. I will fill them for you.
> Why do I post stupid posts like this?
I often wonder the same thing. I would appreciate it if improved your quality/quantity ratio of posts by at least an order of magnitude.
Incorrect. This name is intentionally not the same as any existing word. It is spelled exactly right.
So you're saying that saying that your name is spelled wrong is like saying that TASes are cheated? They're not cheated because they're done intentionally with tools? But why wouldn't it be wrong just because it's done intentionally? If I murder someone, it doesn't make it any less wrong if I do it intentionally.

Declining to answer that.
What is/are your favourite:
1. Individual avatar(s)?
2. Moodset avatar(s)?
(optional)3. Avatar in the past that is no longer used?
Why do you feel this way about said avatar(s)?
<adelikat> I am annoyed at my irc statements ending up in forums & sigs
Well, his name would be wrong if he were trying to spell Biscuit, but he's not. Saying, "It's wrong because Biscuit is spelled differently" is basically like saying, "It's wrong because Paraffinnic is spelt differently". He wasn't trying to spell either, so it doesn't matter.

I ignored the rest of your post, but refer to this post for the explanation of this name.

I think he is saying that saying Bisqwit is spelled wrong is like saying nfq or cpadolf is spelled wrong. Bisqwit is spelled correctly since when making the nickname he spelled it that way thus forever making Bisqwit the correct way of spelling it. No matter how the word it is based uppon is spelled.
EDIT: A little late.

3) Xebra's "seepralta lorahti pissa" avatar (the one with a zebra that pees).
2) Tub's dog set.
1) Nothing in particular, but I commend at least Highness, AngerFist and Blargg 1) for being easily recognizable.
2) Functional pixel graphics that fits well with the mood designations; is consistent and not confused with someone else's avatars (unlike Raiscan & Mukki).
3) It rhymed with his nickname and was of Finnish origin and humorous.
If you could have any pet in the world (do not worry about caring for it and whatnot) what would it be? If possible, explain why. ^^
You can answer twice. Once for household pets, and another for ALL the animals in the world. =)

I already have a cat so it answers the first question.
As for second question, I'd like a tiger or a dolphin, but chances are neither wouldn't work very well even given perfect circumstances.
How many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man?
I don't subscribe to those rules.
Assuming that you mean, what does it take for a person to be recognized as an adult.
In my mind, there is no such thing as "adult", or if it exists, it is a purely negative concept. A human is learning and developing all the time. When that stops, the human starts resisting reason, and that is not a good thing.
I feel that whatever question I ask next, it'll look pretty stupid...but that's for you to decide. ;)
D. Bq.:
What countries have you visited in your life? If more than one, which did you find the most appealing? Finally, if you could visit some place on Earth you haven't been, where would it be?

I haven't travelled a lot. I've visited Sweden, Skellefteå once very briefly; Russia, Санкт-Петербу́рг (St. Petersburg) once for a week, and Estonia, Tallinn once for a weekend.
In Skellefteå there was a semi-rural dock, and I didn't find it very impressive. But I didn't spend time exploring the place, either. I was a teenager back then, and I went there with my mother, for whom it was her first visit in a foreign country (and the only one so far).
Tallinn was much like Helsinki, except that it seemed that streets were longer and buildings grayer. It was a fun trip with the folks from our company, and I mostly sticked with them.
St. Petersburg was the most remarkable of these three. It was an educational visit together with some folks from a few trade schools from around here; we went to describe Finnish education in some trade school in there. That was one day, and the rest of the five days we just hanged around touring and wondering.
Things that particularly were memorable to me weren't very commending on Russia though:
-- Street children begging for money
-- Roads that apparently had no traffic rules whatsoever
-- Decayed blocks, blocks that looked like the building thereof had been started decades ago but never finished
-- Very low value banknotes that were extremely battered, had been used as shopping lists, etc (and conversely, high value banknotes that were in perfect condition (and the large number of zeroes in them))
-- Trams in very bad shape
-- A long and steep escalator leading to the metro tunnel; it looked like someone could cause a very dangerous domino effect by prodding someone on the top
On the other hand, I liked things like the design of their local-area trains, and the good service in restaurants, and I grew fond of hearing the language being spoken everywhere, and missed it for some time after returning to Finland.
If I'd like to visit some place I haven't been, that would be some semi-rural area in Japan. I'd also like to visit Israel, Canada, Ireland and Brazil, possibly some other countries too.

Zero.
The answer is in the question which itself is flawed. The question asks "how many roads must a man walk down". This means that the person has already gained the status of "man", and is being called such, therefore he does not require a journey down any roads. He already has the status of "man".
I won't try to recover this response with a question to Bisqwit, and I'm sure he won't be disappointed in my refraining from doing so.

or this one from the older nickname thread. (so much about remembering 2 year old posts)

Thank you, I guess this warrants using my 'comfort' avatar. :)
Dear Bisqwit,
are you currently actively working on some TASes? Your Projects Page isn't too clear on that. Looks like you're only planning to work on Rockman, but currently don't? Or am I reading that wrong?

I'm in the process of writing two computer-aided TAS projects:
-- A new version of the Lunar ball player (this time utilizing quick vanity shots that prevent score accumulation taking minutes of time).
-- A computer-assisted version of Solomon's Key. I'm currently stuck at room 11. For some reason, the solution I used in the previous TAS is not working no matter how hard I try. The previous rooms are (probably) slightly faster now, though. I haven't profiled them with exact math, but BisqBot has done its best and not worse than I did on Famtasia, except now in room 11 where we are dumbfounded.
And theoretically, I'm working on a non-glitch Rockman TAS. However, I'll gladly resign that project for someone else who's willing.
Almost at the end of my list of dumb questions. :P
D. Bq.:
1. As unlikely as it may be, say some game company or association concludes that some aspects of this site are illegal. They determine that, say, (theoretically; I'm sure in real life you've got it all covered) because of the screenshots that NesVideoAgent takes of ROMs of games that you don't actually own, you are illegally downloading and distributing ROMs (again, I know this is ridiculously unlikely; bear with me), and they threaten to sue you if you don't completely take the site down (or at least everything but the forums). Considering legal fees and other matters, would you go to court or take other kinds of legal action for the sake of the site?
2. I believe somewhere, sometime you said that eventually you might leave the site and leave someone else in charge. If that were the case, would you still pay server costs and maintain the hardware behind the site? If you didn't want to continue to cover the costs and the "inheritor" refused to, would you try to find someone else?
1) I do not respond well to litigation. If an official issue was raised about ROMs specifically, I could probably do some changes somewhere, but I would certainly not agree to take down the site unless situations become unbearable.
2) As long as I have other use for the server hardware, I'm not opposed to running TASvideos on it.
And theoretically, I'm working on a non-glitch Rockman TAS. However, I'll gladly resign that project for someone else who's willing.
What do you classify as a glitch in Rockman? Should there be a specific list of glitches which cannot be used? (Who decides what is and isn't a glitch?)
