adelikat: This movie does not seem to pass the requirement of "Must be distinguishable from the best real-time speedruns". And while I could not find an official record for this game, it does seem like it would be easy to match this TAS with realtime play. In summary, this is too trivial. Setting back to rejected status.

Seriously, you can run right through enemies. The only remotely interesting part of this run is timing jumps over shuriken, and that's as childishly easy as playing the game itself must be. Need I say more? EDIT: By the way, this is supposed to be a trilogy according to the submission text. Where's the third?

This is the beauty of it, don't you see? Reminds me of a high school prank I read about once. A group of kids took 3 pigs, and labeled them "1," "2," and "4" with paint, and let them run loose in the high school. The true joke was how long the administrators spent looking for pig "3."
