This is a TAS of the 10 time attack courses of Mr. Driller 2. This game is a fast paced puzzle game, where the goal is to drill to the bottom of the level within the given time limit.
The reason this is tagged with "Time Attack" is because there are also a mission mode and an endless mode.

I would like to thank Randil for his previous run, as this helped me out a lot doing comparisons.
Enjoy!

klmz: Very positive feedbacks from the audience. Though seemingly small in absolute time, the relative improvement to the currently published movie is over 1%, much bigger than some other recent improvements to other published movies, let alone the route changes are more obvious than pure frame-level movement optimizations. I see no problems in obsoleting the currently published "Time Attack" movie of the same game in favour of accepting this submission.

Small improvements are still improvements nonetheless, and it looks good for a fast-paced puzzler like this. Yes vote.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. Puzzle games don't usually hold a grey-zone for me when it comes to watching a TAS. Either I'm captivated, or I'm not. Somehow, this game holds an adorable charm that makes the gameplay itself easy to continue watching. I enjoyed watching this run despite having never played the game myself. There's no question it would obsolete the present publication as an improvement, so there's nothing to discuss on that front. I'm going with Yes.
1/60 of a second is important; every frame matters.

Nice improvement, I'm glad this game got some more attention. I vote yes, of course, good job as usual. Perhaps we will see a frame war on this game eventually? :) (I think it lends itself quite good for competition)

For what it's worth, I've actually played a Mr. Driller game (although not this specific game), so I have some idea of the mechanics behind this sort of thing. And this run looked well executed, and there aren't any obvious route improvements. So Yes.
