As of this post, BizHawk has an (unreleased) Atari 7800 core. My preliminary tests show that it has good sync and great emulation quality. So I figured now is a good time to start a wish list. Looking through the games, I'm not so sure what if any would make good TASes, but here some ones I noticed: Commando (don't know how long it is but seems decent) Dark Chambers (Gauntlet wannabe, 26 floors, but features 2 players at once) Mario Bros (inferior port compared to the NES one) MS Pac Man

Assuming it's the same game, why would you play the Atari version of Commando instead of the arcade or NES versions? Ditto Pac-Man.

Commando seems to be similar to the NES one but not the same levels. As for Pac-man, I don't know, other than the novelty of it being Atari.

How about Ninja Golf? Seems like a unique beat-em-up to run.

These wishlist threads get messy when the number of posts increases. Atari 7800 has so few games that it is much better to list them all in a single place instead of having wishes scattered all around the thread. Here is a complete list of non-tased Atari 7800 games, wishlisted games highlighted: Ace of Aces (1988) Alien Brigade (1990) Asteroids (1987) Ballblazer (1987) Barnyard Blaster (1988) Basketbrawl (1990) Centipede (1987) Commando (1989) Crack'ed (1988) Crossbow (1988) Dark Chambers (1988) Desert Falcon (1987) Dig Dug (1987) Donkey Kong (1988) Donkey Kong Jr (1988) Double Dragon (1989) F-18 Hornet (1988) Fatal Run (1990) Fight Night (1988) Food Fight (1987) Hat Trick (1987) Ikari Warriors (1989) Impossible Mission (1987) Jinks (1989) Joust (1987) Karateka (1987) Kung Fu Master (1989) Mario Brothers (1988) Mat Mania Challenge (1989) Mean 18 Golf (1988) Meltdown (1990) Midnight Mutants (1990) Motor Psycho (1990) Ms. Pac-Man (1987) Ninja Golf (1990) One-on-One Basketball (1987) Pete Rose Baseball (1989) Planet Smashers (1990) Pole Position II (1987) Rampage (1989) RealSports Baseball (1988) Robotron 2084 (1987) Scrapyard Dog (1990) Sentinel (1988) Summer Games (1987) Super Huey UH-IX (1989) Super Skateboardin' (1989) Symbolic Debugger & Downloader (1988) Tank Command (1988) (Froggo) Title Match Pro Wrestling (1989) Tomcat - The F-14 (1989) Touchdown Football (1988) Tower Toppler (1988) Tubes (Nov 3) (2004) Water Ski (1988) Winter Games (1987) Xenophobe (1989) Xevious (1987)

FYI, if anyone considers doing Impossible Mission, you NEED to use the PAL version. The NTSC version has a fatal bug that makes it impossible to complete. Very fitting for the game name, but not so much for TASing.

Midnight Mutants, a TAS could skip even more than I do. It would skip the Knife and Cross, and potentially Blaster 2, but not sure how much you lose later by skipping the extra damage output it gives. But I think my general route after the Cross is solid. Can give more thoughts if someone actually wants to TAS it. Super Skateboardin', a very short run, you have to go around the building and hit every item that's using electricity. I think my route is solid but I could have overlooked something. Happy to send the map of my route if anyone is interested in doing a TAS, just shoot me a DM. RTA run - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBF9QXWhhtg
