This is an automatically posted message for discussing submission: #592: Phil. Côté and Genisto's NES Battletoads in 13:28

The submission message follows:
1 player warpfull run. 1:23 faster than FODA.

Ok, there's so many tricks and glitches used in this run that I won't write them here. Instead, I am thinking writing a Battletoads tricks page with the help of FODA if he wants.

  • Death used to save time
  • Manipulates luck
  • etc..

DeHackEd: Processing. I'll try to keep the video quality good.

I had no idea that toads could fly! Even though I don't know very much of this game the movie was impressive! I voted yes. Great run.

We have:

  • 2-player with warps
  • 1-player without warps

And now Phil submitted
1-player with warps.

What do we do?

Like FODA said before, a 2 player run cannot beat a 1 player in time due to a stupid bug. So he suggested this type of run and I beat his time.

Though, I will let people decide. I will be neutral.

Bisqwit: I suggest you to watch it first then see.

This was just amazing! Will we be seeing a warpless version that uses all these new tricks any time soon?

Battletoads should have 2 movies:
- 1 player warps, to show fastest completion possible
- 2 players warpless to show all levels and a lot of showoff

I would give a star to 2 players warpless but because of the annoying level 11 bug i think now that the star needs to go to this movie.

This movie wasn't too bad.

Actually it was so good Phil and Genisto deserve a ninja level-up.

About categories: I agree that we should switch to 1-player with warps, and 2-player without warps.

Go for 2-player without warps, of course! EVERY GAME DESERVES FOUR MOVIES

Fixed for people who like binary. Or people who happen to be crazy and have lots of disk space.

Well, Battletoads is an excellent and tough game. An ideal game to timeattack. It deserves all 4 possible movies.
