The submission message follows:
I think that the difficult mode on this game is one of the best difficult modes of any game. Many more enemies, new and different enemies, different behavior, new boss patterns.. everything is changed short of making new levels. It's a lot of fun to play. This run was made using VBA v19. It's 32 seconds faster than the current publication, due mostly to lag reduction, and better manipulation in boss fights. - Goes really slow
- Takes the safe route to avoid pain
- Allows bosses to attack as they please
NesVideoAgent: Hi! I am a robot. I took a few screenshots of this movie and placed them here. Then I deleted them because they sucked. Oh! I also replaced the ROM name. - You indicated Kirby's Dream Land (U) [!].gb
- I updated it to Kirby's Dream Land (UE) [!].gb
adelikat: Accepting for publication as an improvement to the published movie. adelikat: Processing.

Good run of a kinda boring game. I suspect that further lag reduction is possible. Though the boss fights did look to have better strategies than spezzafer's. Nice to see the old run obsoleted, but overall this is a meh. _________________ Working on

Good job. I myself had an attempt at running this game, but I had no luck at reducing lag, so I gave up. Anyway in this run you did basically everything better than speezafer's and it looks terrific.
But there's one thing I thought of... It is possible to suck in both stars generated from Dedede's jump in his battle, doing 'double' damage. Why didn't you take advantage of this?
Anyway I will give this a yes, good work. _________________ My published movies

Because there's no such option.
I had also an attempt at running this game, but the movie file got corrupted for some reason and I had no motivation soon.
I'll watch this run later and give my comments..
- Really nice movie. Nothing to complain in terms of saving time but I would have loved to see more shorthops over enemies (you often inhaled them).
The way you reduce lag because of enemy hits also amused me.
Yes vote.

I just watched the older run of this!
A clear improvement to the old run. Voting yes. |

To you and everyone else, please keep in mind that, just like last time, this is the first Kirby game. There's no such thing as sliding, dashing, copy ability, nothing. All of those things were added later.
In any case, amusing to watch for a while. The submission text was funnier, though. |

| Desync? I'm thinking broken emulation... somehow I don't think a half-Kirby is right... |

Or maybe it caught lots of frames where there was massive flicker and uh... Kirby briefly in the floor? _________________ put yourself in my rocketpack if that poochie is one outrageous dude |

I played this game a ton when I was a kid. The soundtrack is pretty great imo.
Any way, it looked pretty solid. I didn't know that you could damage boost in this. Was it just me, or does blowing air out boost you a tiny bit in one direction? |

Err, he's not referring to copy abilities or anything like that.
He means you can suck in both projectiles, and spit them both out, to hit for twice damage.
I'm not sure if that's actually true, but I do know that nothing you listed there rules it out. _________________ <mmbossman> it's hypocrite limbo! How low can Saturn go?

The point I was trying to get across was that none of those (including two-enemy stars) were ingame, but I stupidly left that out. Oops.
In any case, quite a few places two enemies are sucked in, but the star is completely normal. Sorry. |

I vote yes only because JXQ added Kirby's walk with an enemy in his mouth.
And the ponies. _________________ Eek säger (12:17): min är typ 3 meter

I wasn't to the point of thinking 'impossible' while watching it, but it's a nice, short run of the hard mode. In some places, the tricks being used are obvious. In others, it could just be an experienced player on a real Gameboy. It looks clean.
Yes vote. |

This was one of the first games for the original gameboy (yes, the original grey brick one), that I owned. Glad to see it demolished further. _________________ Living Well Is The Best Revenge
