Here's a website that i've been using for years for games walkthrough. It got walkthrough for about every existing videogames ( including NES ones), so if you want to do a speedrun of a game you don't know too well it can help very much! http://www.gamefaqs.com

I usually use Google to find various walkthroughs and other pages listing secrets and details of the games. This finds usually gamefaqs articles and many others too. (Though - I don't usually do it before I have already created the first version.)
