I've got another one of my genius suggestions. Anyone feel like doing Rambo? It basically plays like Link's Adventure(minus the levelling and spells system) mixed with the most bizarre parody of Rambo: First Blood I've ever seen. It really is a very fun game overall, if not a bit irritating. Great music, too. Edit: I take that back. There's a limited "level" system. You can kill enemies to gain levels for your Combat Knife. Up to Level 9. But otherwise, I dunno. The other weapons don't seem to be all that effected.(I'm at Level 2 right now.) But whatever. Here's a fun screenshot.

Nintendo of America translates the game's title one way, I translate it another. Sue me. Edit:

Rinku no Bouken is translated by the average Japanese speaker as "Link's Adventure". Though, technically...Adventure of Link or Link's Adventure is okay for Rinku no Bouken. The US version, however, has no exception. - TSA
So hah! :x Anyway. . . Well, I guess I could give it a whack. . . I'll read through the NES video guides and whatnot and see if I can do it. As it is, I'm playing through the game to get a feel for the straight-shot path, so. . .

This run is ugly. The game got cool at the end since it introduced aliens. This toook me about 3 hours. The faq i could not understand at all. Some parts might be skippable like killing the spider or talking to a few people. I dunno though. This is better than an ugly text faq atleast. www.geocities.com/sliverjazz/Rambo.zip

Hey, ugly runs are alright too, since it actually gives us something to look at and perhaps ways to find shortcuts and stuff. We are the plastic surgeons of ugly runs! I'll take a look at this and see if there's any input I notice, hopefully tonight if I get my stupid homework done at a reasonable hour. =D;
