a few games I might possibly do runs on to showcase glitches and clock fast speeds on are as follows... 1.Rambo 2.Gauntlet 3.Break Thru 4.Color a Dinosaur (JUST KIDDING!) 5.Strider 6.Golgo 13 7.Metal Gear 8.Snake's Revenge 9.Willow 10.Mafat Conspiracy 11.Mission Impossible I can pretty much walk circles around these games as well as many others...But, these are the ones I am most interested in attempting videos of first...Is there any interest from any of you on any of these games? If so, respond with the ones you'd most like to see, as well as something you might like to see in the way of...And, I will do my best to come forth with positive results...

I think Rambo should be cool but can be boring to watch if it is played miserably.

I had been working on this (and, I guess, I still am). My time from the start to level 20 is 2:42, and to level 50 is 7:45, with the elf. I'm working on it, but haven't finished because I keep running out of keys by world 5.. unfortunately, the keys in the treasure rooms in level 1 are pretty much "essential" at this point, because i can't find any other faster source of keys later on. level 12 would be a nice source, except that it's not in the fastest path. super shots are good replacements for a few keys, but even then you probably won't have more than a few remaining by world 5. it's difficult finding the ideal balance of speed and keys/super shots.

WILLOW! Willow Willow Willow! If you don't do it, I will (after my 18,000 other things).
someone is out there who will like you. take off your mask so they can find you faster. I support the new Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun.

I tried to mess around with Strider but it didn't seem very cool. There was a lot of "explore stage, get item, backtrack" involved. Now the arcade/Genesis Strider, that would be cool.

I will probably ignore Gauntlet for now since another is already working on it...The only thing I have actually attemped in the way of Gauntlet is to do the first stage without fighting a single enemy, nor getting hit...See if you can do that...lol... How far have any of you even gotten in Golgo 13? Personally, while it is certainly not the toughest game, it is fairly tough to avoid being hit 100 percent...being that the hit detection in the game is horrid. The backtracking in Strider isn't so bad...And, if you think about it, are not many of today's most popular games all about backtracking...? ie-Metroid series, Castlevania series...and, so on...I fired up rambo again last night for old time's sake, and let me tell you...The game does not hold up well after time...It is such a ridiculous game to waste time on at all...But, at least Willow is still fun...So, I will most probably start off with Metal Gear, Golgo 13, and Metal Gear, based on your guys' wants...:)

you know feitclub i think you're right, its a fun game to play but to watch I dont think theres much to make a good movie with. I'd certainly like to see metal gear though, since I could never even get past the 4th SCREEN in that game.

Has any one thought of doing superman for nes. I used to love that game of course i would run out of superpowers in the first five seconds, but thats besides the point. Ive neverseen the game played gh completely and I think it might look cool. anyone ever beat it and know how long it is or if it would be interesting. What do you guys think

actually strider is more fun to watch than you'd think...There are numerous glitches in the game...I did a run of the first level alone and utilized several...Some like being able to bounce off of a spike and land on a platform 10 feet above, walking through spikes casually without getting knocked about, horribly funny distorted graphics when you slide in certain places...The game is so buggy its full of surprised...As for Metal Gear, that appears to have the most interest...So, I will leave Strider at the first level for now and try for Metal Gear...The game is super easy, with the only annoying parts being a few maze sections that repeat if you go the wrong way...Oh how I hate those annoying things...:) If anyone wants to see the first level of Strider, just message me on KMFDManic on aim and I will send you it...I will make a Golgo 13 one too and goof off in the early levels as a start. Now off to Metal Gear. So many funny things you can do in that game.

I'd really like to see someone do Rygar and Hydlide, because I could never figure out what the hell to do in those games. And also a good marble madness; I'd be curious about how much would be emulation and how much just good reflexes.

There already is a Rygar speed run on this site, and there's a Marble Madness speed run on Arc's site.

There's also a VirtuaNES movie of Hydlide out there somewhere (forget where).
but then you take my 75 perchance chance of winning, if we was to go one-on-one, and then add 66 and two-thirds ch...percents...i got a 141 and two-thirds chance of winning at sacrifice

Yeah, I know, I should do them myself. But anyway, here's my list of games that I think would be fun to watch. - 8 Eyes - Gargoyle's Quest 2 - Ikari Warriors - Mighty Final Fight - Smash TV I know 8 Eyes has been worked on, and I think Gargoyle's Quest has also been worked on a little. I really, really want to see a two-player Smash TV run, but that would perhaps be the most challenging run to date. Big money! Big prizes! I love it! Ikari Warriors is really more just a classic than an entertaining run. Mighty Final Fight is similarly (rather, a spoof on a classic).

I'll second the smash TV request, but the SNES version would be the one to do. Phil has started working on Mighty Final Fight, see his thread in the "general" forum.

I'll vote Smash TV. It'd be interesting to see if it's possible to beat the game in hard mode without dying, which is hard enough to do in easy!
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

I've already expressed my interested for Smash TV, and as TheAxeMan said the SNES version is the one too do. I vote the run should include getting the secrets and getting into the Plessure Dome. It would be interesting to see the game beaten without getting killed. From my experience of playing I would say it would be almost impossible to do, but i'm sure someone will find a way.

I think beating it without dying is possible in a time attack, it'd just take a lot of work. Avoid all those enemies, don't miss any shots, manipulate luck to get powerups... and do it all with two players? I'm tellin' ya, if it ever happens, it'll be the best. I didn't see Mighty Final Fight in Phil's thread; I saw Final Fight Guy.

I made a Smash T.V. (Snes) but thought it wasn't good enough and deleted it (a few months ago)
