Yeah, I know. No rerecording emulators have been made yet. And to my knowledge, VBA has no plans on it. But in case it does get implemented - or a different GB/GBC emulator with rerecording pops out of left field - I figured it couldn't hurt to make a third Big o' List. The main trouble is that a LOT of games are ports... or as close as you'd get to one on the Gameboy. >>; And so, without further ado: Alien 3 (Still hoping for NES/SNES runs on this...) Battletoads (Wasn't there an original GB BT game?) A Boy and His Blob - The Rescue of Princess Blobette Castlevania - Legends Castlevania II - Belmont's Revenge The Castlevania Adventure (What is this? 3?) Donkey Kong (Y'know, the remake. Did it have normal levels?) Final Fantasy Adventure (Needs more Seiken) FF Legend 1-3 (Needs more SaGa) Gargoyle's Quest - Ghosts'n Goblins (What the...) Kid Icarus - Of Myths and Monsters (*shudder* The suckage...) Any Kirby game. LoZ: Link's Awakening (Regular or DX Flavor) LoZ: Oracle of Seasons/Ages Rockman World 1 - 5 Megaman Extreme 1 + 2 Metroid II Metal Gear Solid Metal Walker R-Type II The Simpsons - Escape From Camp Deadly The Simpsons - Bart & the Beanstalk Super Mario Land 1 - 3 TMNT 1 - 3 Any Wario Land game To be honest, I never HAD many GB/GBC games. And the ones I did tended to be evil (TMNT 1 ><). I didn't include any Pokemon games, as I figure that even with rerecording, it'd take way too long to beat one to prove interesting. Not that I figure it'll stop someone set on doing it. Anything to add to the list? Couldn't hurt to start planning routes and such, either. Y'know, just in case.

I tried the GameBoy Adventures of Lolo, but I found it kinda slow and annoying, so I dunno... I think you guys got all the other ones I know.

In my opinion, they wouldn't be worth the trouble. Since without any sort of cheating, it takes oh, 20 + hours to even get to the Elite Four and be strong enough to defeat them. No one would want to spend That much time watching a run! Even if you had a REALLY good team at the start and skipped many of the wild battles, I'd still estomate that it take at least 15 hours.

Whew, a quick walkthrough of Pokemon game would be nice. Minimum levelupping and optimized moves to OHKOs. Also that Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge run would be nice to see. I know it's a bit of a sluggish game, but it has an excellent soundtrack. Also one skateboarding game comes to mind.. it had bosses and something like that. Can't really remember the name right now :T

Which Pokemon would you get, though?

Pokemon red is not that hard to go fast, there is a guide in gamefaqs for that. Here is a screenshot to show how fast, or slowly, you can defeat the whole game. And I'm currently playing throught silver, 1:35 currently after getting 6 badges.
I won't give up unless my victory is assured!

Hook. It was so awful, I want to see it get owned! Mwahahahahahahahhaa! Edit: Actually, I just learned there is a NES version of that game. So, forget about the Gameboy version. Maybe I'll get around to doing this game some day.

I would really really like to see runs of Wario Land II or III. I could watch those games all day. :)

There are a couple good Batman games, at least two gameboy games. One based on the original movie, fairly simple. The animated series one is pretty sweet and very tough, it might be a good run.

Given the fact I seem to have odd tastes in speedruns... here's what's on my wishlist (the ones that haven't been previously mentioned, anyway...): GBMono: Kirby's Pinball Land (Is this even completable? I know it has the three 'worlds' and bosses etc., but I have a feeling it loops forever...) Ultima I+II (I've honestly never played an Ultima game on gameboy... which is why I'd be interested in seeing them completed as fast as possible XD) Addams Family (I've no idea if this is different to the console versions.) Kirby's Dream Land 1+2 (Probably mentioned before... but I'll say it again anyway!) And, of course, Megaman 1-5. GBC: Bomberman Max (Everyone loves Bomberman!) Cannon Fodder (War has never been so much fun.) Apogee spinoffs- Commander Keen/Duke Nukem (The GBC versions caused me to vomit, so I'd like to see these games played... I mean, I'm sure not going to play them) Cartoon Network spinoffs- Dexter, PPG, etc. (I never played these games, so they'd be fun to see. I assume.) Donkey Kong Land+Country (as obvious as Mega Man) Fort Boyard (Awesome show, crap game. Perhaps along the lines of the cartoon network games? Morbid curiosity!) Grand Theft Auto (GTA on gameboy. Crazy!) Alone in the Dark Resident Evil (Survival Horrors with beepysounds!) Metal Gear Solid (or Ghost Babel, rather.) Tomb Raider (because it's got like tombs and stuff) ...and that's all. ^_^

I think Qix would make a damn good time attack game. Perhaps a little competition on points/area%/fastest clear times and such? ;)

Two main ones for me: Lufia (3): The Legend Returns Star Ocean: Blue Sphere And uh, rerecording GB/GBC is now possible with VBA right? Or else how were the 3 TAS's we have now created?
