Seems anytime a movie is thought to be perfect someone comes along and improves it. Here, klmz has improved his previous movie by 21 frames by improving upon the previously discovered flagpole glitch.
Even in simple-looking games you can always find more time-saving tricks to exploit if you look hard enough. See what's been found so far at the Super Mario Bros. Tricks page.

Little Samson and his team are out to deliver tool-assisted fun!
This game consists of four heroes with very different strengths and weaknesses. The object (and fun) of the game is to use these traits to your advantage depending on the situation.
This movie improves the previously published movie by JXQ by almost 4 minutes, due to new glitches, better strategies and better precision.

The glitched Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow main quest TAS has become even more glitched. Using an obscure out-of-room travel technique involving in-game saving and subsequent dying, klmz ploughs through the game with confident pace of a cold-blooded killing machine in a little under seven minutes — whole 5 minutes and 20 seconds faster than the previous movie by zggzdydp.
We recommend reading the author's comments for more information on the death warp glitch and other time-saving techniques used to make this improvement happen.
If you would like to see more of the game, we also have a "100% souls" Aria of Sorrow movie by Kriole here.

Unfortunately, Red from the last year's carnage got into an accident involving a badly thrown grenade and a few land mines, so Green takes it on all by himself in this new episode of Jackal.
Not having to deal with the larger amount of two-player mayhem also means the game goes faster, which is a win for everybody. (Except that Red guy.) Coupled with better playing, this constitutes the 9 second improvement over the previous movie by xipo.
This movie has an Atlas Map encode of Stage 6, which shows the standard encode overlaid on a zoomed out map.

This is a really, really fast TAS through Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance played with Maxim who is only available after the game is beaten once. Most of the game is glitched through by being stuck in different walls, so it's hard to explain what happened in this; see it for yourself.
In the quest for perfection, klmz has found another 23 frames over Deign's previous movie.
If you like this run but have a craving for more Maxim action, be sure to check out the Maxim warpless run.

Note: This movie starts where the main quest movie left off. We do not usually accept movies beginning from a save. Please read our rules to see our reasons.

Ninja Gaiden Shadow (aka. Shadow Warriors) is actually a licensed GB port of Shadow of the Ninja on the NES console. Because of this, it is fairly faithful to the original despite starring Ryu Hayabusa, the main character of the Ninja Gaiden series.
In this Gaiden of a gaiden, Ryu Hayabusa manages to defeat Emperor Garuda and save mankind in under 12 minutes, notwithstanding running slower than in other Ninja Gaiden games.

The first quest completion time of this fast paced game got nearly cut as much as 2/3 thanks to Juste's ability to sink into walls when going at very high speed. Please, don't try this at home!
This is a 171-second improvement over zggzdydp's movie. Like in the previous movies, the author picked up an item to display those cool CRITICAL's for entertainment, at the cost of some time.
However, if you still think there is not enough zipping through walls, make sure to see the second quest completed in less than half a minute!
