A proof of concept of a run on Expert mode with a 17 combo and 3 All Clears. It's 123 frames and 5 seconds of in-game time slower than my current submission, but it demonstrates an alternate path that may show some promise.
I like it... just wished Pentris could've been shown. Oh well.
Whoa, I didn't think anyone would bother to make an encode for a WIP. Thanks for the encode, Spikestuff, and an extra thanks for all the hard work you put into encoding!
Now I want to find some way fit a Pentris into a published run... maybe a future speedrun of story mode or a playaround submission?
Looked really good. I personally would favor this version over the one on the Workbench right now because it uses Expert instead of Easy. There is a precedent for a longer movie on a higher difficulty to obsolete a shorter one on an easier difficulty; see Gunstar Heroes.
