I think this is obvious to everyone. It's more of a question how to we deal with this particular submission with the new rules in place. Of importance here is that our encoders don't want to have to add input when they do a re-encode.

Our submissions are supposed to follow our rules. We don't care what the rules for other sites are. Please keep the discussion to what we care about and what matters for us. This run definitely has issues though if the ending cannot be reached without extra input. http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#MovieMustBeComplete
It must be able to reach the credits or end screen without requiring any further interaction; all input must come solely from the input file (e.g. configuring the emulator to autofire after the end of playback is not allowed). An exception has been allowed for Rygar.

Bear in mind if you set all kinds of special unusual modes, we cannot accept the game to the Vault. Since special options target Moons, we need to confirm with the audience whether they think a certain setting will be more entertaining than other settings.

We allow playing unlockable content using in-game passwords Using in-game codes[1] or passwords at the start of a game is allowed if it makes the game harder or if it makes cosmetic changes to the game, as long as parts of the game are not skipped. As the topic name says: What are your thoughts on birthdays? Especially of your own birthday.
My thoughts on Birthdays changed over the years. When I was young, I wanted my Birthdays to accumulate really quickly so I'd be old enough to get out of a troubling situation. Once I reached that point, I kind of stopped caring. If someone asked me how old I was, I had to sit and think about it, because I never paid any attention to my age anymore, it didn't matter. Then when I did realize a birthday arrived I felt a bit upset because it meant I was getting older and slightly less resilient. But my most recent viewpoint is that you MUST find excuses to make yourself happy, and constantly celebrate over whatever you can. Therefore I no longer believe in birthdays because that's too limiting. Why only celebrate your birth one day a year? Why not celebrate a whole week, you have a birthweek, right? There's also many calendars, Chinese, Gregorian, Hijri, Hebrew, and more, why only celebrate on the Gregorian? You can celebrate your birth each year for them all! Be happy! Make excuses if you have to.

This method is now legal.

You're describing a "grass is always greener on the other side of the fence" scenario. Truth is, everything has pros and cons, and you often cannot appreciate them fully unless you live it. In some cases it's also impossible to truly live the other scenario(s). It's important to see the grass is always greener scenarios when they come up. What you wear isn't who you are. Never confuse what people are wearing with what they're actually doing. Never apologize for who you are. Believe in yourself, and be self confident. You are unique, you are special, you are you.

Being disappointed in one's gender is sort of different from not believing in yourself in other ways
No group is perfect, and you can find fault with all of them. If you're disappointed in a group as a whole, of which includes yourself, it is a strong indication of a lack of self respect and self confidence. If you yourself are imperfect, you can work on it. If those around you are imperfect, you can advise them how to improve. Taking responsibility for those around you doing their own thing of which you differ on, in cases where they are not your subordinates, is you either really not appreciating yourself for you, or thinking to yourself that those around you are your subordinates when they are not.

The different DOS extenders are often interchangeable. It's unlikely that game mechanics logic depends on their differences.

Part of what was holding up further releases was some clunkiness of the underlying libraries I was using. However all that has been resolved. So going forward if we want this, fixing some of the drawbacks should now be possible.

I'm fine with all levels. I think it's pretty clear what that means. And it doesn't include maximum bonuses, which is fine.
