Ah yes, this shall be mine to Publish. God damn love everything about this TAS from start to end, I love the improvement with the sheer amount of glitches and the way that it all ties together to show how much from the last movie is damn incredible. Yes Vote.

Please look at both the Movie Rules and the Guidelines. Please upload anything you have that's not in contention in being a publishable TAS here: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/ this area is for the Work in Progress movies, like this one is, cause it's poorly made. nodding

Just for the sake of showing an example. [2413] PSX Tenchu: Stealth Assassins (USA) by Hâthor in 29:52.65 [2648] PSX Tenchu: Stealth Assassins (Japan) by NhatNM in 16:34.17 Strategies and methods are different between the two as the Japanese version is lacking two stages (4 and 5 in the US), and when doing the levels onwards, the method can be immensely different due to having a different loadout that you can have selected. And for the sake of mentioning. The Japanese market did get a revision version where it added what was missing/lacking which the US version has including the two missing levels.

Much like every other newcomer who comes to TASVideos and does a SMB TAS. You're slower than the currently published one by a margin: [3665] NES Super Mario Bros. "warpless" by MrWint in 18:37.46 If you want to upload your TASes without getting straight rejections and become a Limited User unable to submit movies upload your movies here: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/ Only submit a movie when you are faster than a currently published movie.

You haven't explained why you linked the speedrun other than for us to assume it's faster than a not branched, but tagged playaround TAS which means nothing. (Then again, the TAS is more obvious that it's a playaround when the TAS is in the Moons and not the Vault.) For that speedrun. Not Enough Bicycle Kicks / 10.

Well it's not wave 1 and only wave 1 like you displayed in this TAS. Basically read what I wrote after your post on the Coleco submission. That's how you determine it.

>Starts from 9 (and only does 9). Right, bit of a shame this isn't a progression thing. This is the biggest letdown for me about this entire TAS as a person who prefers to watch Arcade games (ports) to progress instead of straight up starting in the middle of nowhere. Galaxian is the game I have the least knowledge on loops, but the difficulty in the game does increase as shown. (There's probably a value to show off the enemies' aggressiveness.) Finding the loop in Galaxian is much harder to do so as it's always the same layout. Since this wasn't continued further we don't know if there was more than a single level especially later in the game. I'm voting No on entertainment.

Emphasis by me so I can address the elephant in the room in that query.
Soig wrote:
How about expanding the submitter's authority to its own submission? Such as replacing the movie file, setting to delayed?
How about no. Giving a feature such as modifying a submission can actually be damaging to TASVideos say that the person wants to leave TASVideos they can pretty much wipe all their TAS submissions from existence. File Replacement is also done as a way of checking by someone else that the file still syncs, the original submission file should stand as is, until a sync is done by that is checking. That's when the file is replaced. This is a bad suggestion, it should only be moderated by those that are the Judging Staff or part of the Senior Role of TASVideos, not a submitter who is just a user. Setting to delayed is probably the better suggestion in your query but probably to an extent as infinite delay will be annoying and would probably pass as a Rejection in the end after a set amount of time has passed, but not the replacing of a movie.

Going off the encode that exists, that you made, that you haven't linked here yet (since I already watched it) which I'll assume is just the wrong time cause you didn't trim it properly for the YouTube encode and got corrected for submission. This TAS is really well made. My main issue with this TAS is when you go downtime you just do left, right input to wait about... which can be nauseating to some people... especially when it's something constant. Mainly due to this is the reason why I've leaned towards Meh is because of the input you chose to use for downtime. The other reason is that it's pushed to a Meh Vote is that the game is very boring. Author Commentary/Subtitles would be a nice addition to this TAS to explain the technical aspects of how crap of a clone this game is, much like the AGDQ18 commentary to this game. I'll also shotgun the publication while I'm here when this gets accepted to whatever tier. Again. Well done.

Right... I'm only posting this cause you're focused on one Switch emulator between the 2 posts and not mentioning the other one, Ryujinx. For the sake of a quick rundown on first boots. yuzu: - The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ (InGame, Will lead to a crash) - Puyo Puyo Tetris (crashes at splash screen) - Cave Story + (crashes/hardlocks after an opening cutscene) Ryujinx: - The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ (InGame, much further than yuzu) - Cave Story + (InGame, much further than yuzu) - Tiny Barbarian DX (InGame) Terms of playability, iirc yuzu currently has Ryujinx beat on Isaac but nothing majorly since Ryujinx can actually get into Cave Story +.

It was canceled for a a few reasons, the major one is that 32 levels of the 38 were shown.

but are there differences between JP version and US version?
Actually, JP and PAL60 version as US is considered slower than PAL60 (Italian for fastest language, for those wondering language choice). Well besides the obvious, cause RTA. Stolen from The Cutting Room Floor. * In Episode 6 of Sirena Beach, Mario has to clean 99% of the goop in the Japanese version but only 95% in the international versions. * In the Japanese version, every time Delfino Plaza loads it loads roughly 1/3 of a second faster than the international versions. * In the Japanese version, when Shine Sprites appear after defeating Shadow Mario in one of the levels, they do not spin as they fall, but they do in the international versions. * The US and European versions have a glitch called the Fruit Storage Glitch. By dismounting Yoshi while Yoshi is in the process of eating a fruit, the fruit will stay in mid-air. This allows you to eat the fruit at any point in the level. Stolen from the Sunshine Speedrunners. Cherry-picked, since there's more of a list than in comparison to TCRF and I've already provided the link for you to go through yourself. * Getting off Yoshi allows clips, because you jump off Yoshi backwards, while in other versions it's more of a vertical dismount. * Minimal amount of air damage frames. * If you throw a fruit as you land, you can make the fruit float in mid-air. * Faster loading. * When Shadow Mario shines spawn, as they fall they don't spin.

In terms of death abusing like a maniac vs not death abusing like a maniac the charm is murdered, and this is coming from a guy who used Suicide and Pause Buffs to advance through Tekken 3 for IGT. My vote in honesty for this Death Abusing hell is a straight No Vote.

April Fools was 18 days ago. Here's a light Spike reglardless (750 frames) cause this is a meme romhack. For this romhack you can probably just splice in the Sonic 2 TAS to get the same but faster results.

Just like my comment on the cancelled one for separation, I'll keep this in one post for both submissions. I still think the no collisions is eh, even thought it's an amazing submission of improvement, so it'll receive a Meh from me. On the collisions TAS, it's still a shocker on the code, and the entertainment survives on it for me to receive a Yes on that one. Now just for the "no collisions" TAS. I want to claim it for Publications on the chance of acception. The elephant in the room for this TAS is the Difficulty Switching and it must be addressed in the Publication as it does beat the controversial easy difficulty of Todd Rogers' 32.5 (which as we all know he was stripped of).

I'm going to have to suggest possibly actually doing the minigames, rather than deliberately failing... which sadly makes it more boring to a user's perspective. Seriously best of luck trying to get this one through. The work behind it is notable just now there may be a definitive way explained in the rejection to follow.

I actually watched this before submission as it was available for a while now. >Game is more made for the sake of the speedrunning scene. Hm, okay. From observations on more notable hacks, we already have; Metroid Super ZeroMission and MockingBird Station TASed. So it'll have to go against actual more notable Metroid Hacks. In preference, I'd rather wished you went to MockingBird and create a 100% route, or actually grab a more notable Super Metroid hack that's been circulating. As for the Hack itself, it's designed for speedrunning in mind. Which is notable by the IGT up top. It's not interesting of a hack and for a 100% that contains apparently nothing in exploration compared to Super ZeroMission, Jesus. Love the blue ball escape sequence of nothing. >What Is Love? going off in the background. And I'm done. Thanks for the copyright that we're going to get off of it I guess when this gets accepted. I'm leaning towards No in terms of Entertainment, and I might as well stick with that way I'm leaning towards.

Hey. Thanks for the 10 year bump on a game with only showing the current RTA World Record instead of providing something that was more TAS content worthy. Such a worthy bump. Stop bumping threads with RTA runs when the thread is long dead. Bump it with TAS progress instead. Edit: And now he provides a silent edit to show a TAS from 2013. Kura. What about all your other stupid bumps (Like the 8 year bump on Blasto) for just showing a speedrun and not a TAS? You going to go fix that now, or you going to keep bumping with nothing useful?

Nope. ROM chosen is infact a clean ROM. More by the fact that in the input A is pressed 3 times at the very start (talking on the fact of CrackIntros).

Version Differences means it's eligible. To correctly go against this TAS you should be stating it's missing the e-Reader levels so it invalidates the "100%".
