I keep getting this from time to time when I'm playing games. Seems to only affect some games, but I can't seem to figure out the cause. I've tried switching video cards and memory, and my CPU runs at around 45º c. Any ideas?

I don't really know. Which operating system are you running?

What brand of BSoD, if it's an NT core you should be able to tell. It should be near the top. (What's the error message, I mean.)

And what device driver causes it? It should also tell you that, if it's NT/XP, and it'd be useful for figuring out what's causing it.

I had this problem a few weeks ago; updating my video card driver worked for me, though I'm aware there are many causes for BSOD.

Well, if you have your XP/2K CD you can probably fix it by typing sfc /purgecache sfc /scannow in the nearest commandline. Assuming it's a system file error rather than a driver error. If it's a driver error you have to either locate the driver that's causing it, or locate the program that's causing it. I'd check the MD5 on the emulator that's causing it against a freshly downloaded copy.
