Not sure if this question belongs here. While making a test TAS with Bizhawk I had trouble using the frame-by-frame piano roll feature of TAStudio. Every time I set an input, it will give an error message, something like "generic.key.exception", and recommends using JIT debugging. After a bit of googling it appears to have something to do with Visual Studio and .NET, with no solutions specific to bizhawk as far as I know. I'm TASing a PSX game if that helps. This error doesn't seem to be harmful and bizhawk still emulates and records the inputs just fine, but it is very annoying to close off error messages every single time I try to make an input, and makes the TAS process a whole lot longer. I can still TAS the traditional way, but keyboard rollover is a hindrance when using frame advance. How can I make the messages go away? Also I have one more less pressing problem: the piano roll in tastudio doesn't display colored backgrounds for me, even though I have the relevant option checked. Does this indicate an error of some sort?

What's the whole message of the exception? Note: not loaded libraries, just the first paragraph.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.
