I'm still working on figuring out the hex-editing programs, but also taking a risk by continuing work on the run with the bad rom and hoping it won't desync... The bad rom run is past level 3 and has the superspin attack. The superspin is a much faster way of moving than just swimming, and is used for most of the run. So is someone working on this? I mean, theres the glitched run, but what about a glitchless run? The glitched run is boring and uninteresting, so a TAS of the full game can be entertaining... just sayin'.

Well, not exactly. There's several autoscrollers, so that can potentially ruin it. :P

I tried syncing this back on BizHawk 2.2.1 on mGBA core. I "sorta" managed. As in, I managed to trigger the boss, just like the obsoleted movie, which requires going through at least 1 room in the final stage. I'm still trying to trigger the final boss at the first room, but the glitch sometimes works, sometimes fails. Edit: 0x040D84 in Combined WRAM is the cutscene/dialogue ID.
