'Sim City' is a virtual-city-planning game of Snes.
Game-genre is simulation game.
This movie's target is "Succeed as fast as possible" in "Practice Mode".
In Practice, "population 30k within 5years" is a goal of this game. When 1905-January(In game time) come, and if population is 30k over, you will be succeed.
(This movie stopped at 1905-Jan.)
I didn't use any glitchs and techniques.Because I didn't need anything.
I didn't use "Quick Move Button" (A-Button). Because using "Quick Move Button" stops game time. (If I use it, in-game time and movie length would be longer.)

Do you think 'Sim City' is not suited to make a movie?

(Edit) Please don't vote to 'YES', Because I noticed bad mistake in this movie now. I want to cancel this submit, but I don't. (If I'll cancel, people will not able to write to this thread.)

I think some people are anticipating for a 1'000'000-population-city movie. [Edit] This movie seems to accomplish its goal and quite effeciently. I don't understand all what's going on. Maybe Sim City experts can judge better.

Hmm.. The run looks good. But woulden't it be faster if you built more stuff? I will vote when I'm clear over the answer. :)

Not a shabby movie. It was pretty minimalist for what it was trying to accomplish, and you chose a game mode that really can't be timeattacked (no matter how quickly you achieve your goal, it will always take 5 years in game to win.) I agree with Bisqwit's notion that it would be better to go for a 'X population in fastest time' movie. If you, for example, had been going for 'fastest time to get 30,000 people (and complete objective), then you would have a movie that is comparable to other attempts. If this were the case, I would also advise you to build more residentials in your town. I am "voting" as meh because all though this was a good movie, I feel you went about it in the wrong way.

I think the scenarios would be fun to watch. Either single or all of them in one go.

Perhaps, you meant 600'000-population-city-movie. (1000k is possible, but to make it needs very long length... perhaps 10hours over) If you meant 600k,don't worry, Phil will make it,someday.(^_^) >experts Yeah,I agree.(^_^) Sorry my late,I had a lunch :)

Built more stuff is not faster, by two reasons. 1:Little stuff will be faster than many stuff. 2:A moment of "To built" is maybe stops gametime. This movie's END is 1905-Jan. So,to pass times as fast as possible is faster. (Another words) "To reach 30k more faster" is very easy, but totally, it will be slower. "To reach 1905-Jan" will be slower, cause of many objects.

If you thinks so, please try by yourself. I'm sure you are worng.(^_^;) Not always take 5 years. Fewest object is faster. And "To reach 30000 by fewest object" is not easy.

Please know correct-knowledge of SimCity's time.(^_^)

Do you feel which is faster...?(^_^;) (Edit) >Anyways Terimakasih.. I'm not going to make those scenarios. /me is an irc command used to describe an action.
<roger> hello every one
then if you're roger and type in irc: */me waves at everyone* It would appear as
roger waves at everyone
just a chat thing ... () btw IRC ( Internet Relay Chat ) is just an old chat thing that people still use.
hello world !

Thanks for your welcome, but I can't write English faster.(^_^;) I need a long time to write English, sorry. >Please don't be too hasty. >I undid your "cancel". Oh,I was surprised.(^_^;) But please don't misunderstanding, the reason of 'Cancel' is not "People don't like this movie.". The reason is my foolish mistake of my movie.(^_^;) (I noticed that this movie has very bad mistake.) And I didn't know about,,,'Nobody can post, when I canceled my submit',sorry.. (Edit) (Deleted)

That's okay; we've got a few people who know enough Japanese to act as interpreters (though I don't know quite enough yet, I could sure use some practice).

Thank you. But I think that it is hard (and troublesome) to translate my comments many times.(^_^;) I don't want to trouble to someone.

Learning from my comments is not good :P Naruto is anime(or Manga),isn't it? I can't imagine how these charactors speak in other country's language. --- Whoops, If I join a thread, the thread always will be off-topic... Let's go back to SimCity...

It looked sad that Terimakasih had a topic in an ocean of locked topics. Anyways.. I've read this thread over again, and I can't find wether or not Terimakasih ever stated what his big mistake was. Does anyone remember what his mistake were? Would be cool to see an updated version.

IMO a Sim City movie should be measured in how many months it takes to accomplish the goal, not real time.
My Chiptune music, made in Famitracker: http://soundcloud.com/patashu My twitch. I stream mostly shmups & rhythm games http://twitch.tv/patashu My youtube, again shmups and rhythm games and misc stuff: http://youtube.com/user/patashu

Well.. Technically you can pause the game and build all you want and then unpause.. This will be one of the "must" factors if you're going to measure it by months.
