Lovely lovely Sintax and the unlicensed games they make. Since theres too many... I'll put some of them (4 in total): - Digimon 9/Digimon Yellow Jade (different games and levels) (Lemmings' sound engine): They're similar to Pokémon Platinum, but with some slight changes in its engine and level design. The run button is slightly different too, with delays and stuff like that. You can choose between 2 characters; Piyomon (she can fly in a floaty way) and Agumon (which shoots fireballs and stuff). Unlike Pokémon Platinum, theres more complex gameplay, and a TAS would be interesting to see. Backjumps and clips still work yay!!! - Digimon D-3 (Pokémon Pinball's sound engine... seriously): Agumon only. This time to run, you press Down and you'll boost like Sonic. You can digievolve and you'll strike enemies while running. With this one I'm most interested. - Digimon Fight (RPG Maker GB sound engine): Fighting game with platform and powerup elements. A playaround would be appropiate. That's all for now... I guess.

I think I'm going to start with Digimon Fight first, it's pretty kickass for a bootleg. I made a verification movie that unlocks all the characters in the game. Input file (yes it took THAT long): http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/19095441789545004 As you noticed, this was made on BizHawk, I'm planning to do this game on that. (still the gambatte palette is horrible... that's why I don't like using BizHawk for GBC games. I'm dead fucking serious.) A funny playaround would be then.

Question: Why did you use such an old version of bizhawk? We're on Version 1.9.1 now. Edit: looks like a pretty nice game. Actual Title: Mingzhu Koudai Guaishou 3 明珠口袋怪兽3 (CBA065)

Ok, I'll setup some things first before starting: -My character choice will be Agumon since... he can moonwalk! -I need to learn how the hell I make a special move, cuz every char with its digievolution has its own 2 special moves. -No gambatte palette pls. Ok then... wish me luck! It will be finished next year... like really it be hrd ya kno.

what characters are unlocked with the verification file, this game looks better than the gba ones!
TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

The movie unlocks 4 characters: V-mon, Wormon, Impmon and Mummymon. I just did that just in case.

A new vid of mine showing some stuff in Digimon D-3: Link to video -Headbonking with Agumon can let you clip through FEW walls. (Useful for RTA) -Backjumping still works... only when you're digievolved. -Groundpounds are much faster than falling.

I think I've figured out how to do special moves in Digimon Fight. You press Up and then down to do a physical move, and Down and then up to shoot a projectile... I think... Anywho, since I kinda figured it out, it's now my chance to check for some cool combos and figure out how manipulatable is the RNG in this bootleg is. Wish me luck! Hope laziness doesn't come in my way this time!

Some documentation stuff for Digimon Fight. This is a movie demonstrating all the tech and inputs listed below: https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/637827403018946056 After a very long time, I have finally figured out what the command inputs are. You have to perform most of these in very rapid succession, and in the correct order. These command inputs are universal and don't change no matter the character. I'll be listing a couple of pieces of tech as well in order to be thorough, because I'm gonna forget about this later: Melee attack: Down+Up and hold B very quickly. Projectile: Down+Left/Right+B, depending which direction you are facing. Digievolution: When your blue meter is full, hold both A and B + either Down/Left/Right. Super Move: While Digievolved, hold both A and B + either Down/Left/Right. Falling through platforms: While on a platform, press Down+A very quickly. Multi aerial hit: Press B in the air while you're touching an opponent's hurtbox to hit them multiple times with an aerial attack. Normally you can only aerial attack once while in the air. Ledge Dash: Turn around as soon as you begin your falling animation when falling from a platform ledge. You can perform an aerial attack during this. Oh yeah forgot about this one, though all these Digimon bootlegs have the same thing. Backjumping: Press A + both Left and Right at the same time to jump backwards. Very common thing with these bootlegs. Posting this just in case anyone ever wants to TAS this game someday.
