Just gotta chime in to say I suggest encoding in a format that allows you to use multiple audio channels so you can have say all four at once (two left speaker, two right speaker), and each game individually..

Any news on the RBO or the regular run? :)

Just got a chance to finish downloading and watch the High Quality version. Very, very cool, although like the original Half-Life run on SDA, I kinda wish there was a 'walkthrough' style one to see all the dialogue and scripting in its glory without having to actually take the effort to play myself.

Cool sneak peak. Gotta say tho, the 'physics' for this Redesign, now that I've seen them in action, just don't seem to flow as smoothly and it rubs me the wrong way :p

After reading this thread I've decided I'm gonna wait until this is done before I watch it. Partly because I want to save the excitement and partly because I'm too lazy to go get the ROM. But I may change my mind.

I hate to be a pest, but is anyone interested in capturing this (or even the next) WIP as an .avi for those of us that are too lazy to go ROM hunting? :)

For anyone looking to skip the long bout of Magus levelling, it runs from about 3:37 to 3:55 :)

http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=604 I always loved this game because a) it was fun and b) the title consisted of two Queen songs.

You're okay with using a computer to alter gameplay but not with using a computer to alter gameplay? That's all I could see.

Now I wonder if the most of the "regular" Speedrun community would get all elitist about this type of run too or appreciate it since it's not something we'll probably see done on a console for a long time ;)

Flonne: Huh? Prinnies? Laharl: What are you doing here? Prinny Squad: We thought we might as well give it a shot, dood. Etna: What!? You're not allowed to pull of a coup d'etat without me! Etna: I'm the one who's supposed to kill the Prince! Flonne: Etna, it might not be such a good idea to announce that in front of the person in question. Prinny Squad: We know a head-on attack is suicide, dood. Laharl: Hm? You have a plan, then? Prinny Squad: That's right, dood!! Prinny Squad: Alright! Let's go, doods!! Prinny Squad: We challenge you to a game of baseball, dood!! Laharl: Etna. Etna: Yes? Laharl: Kill 'em. Etna: Certainly.

Wow. That's why I can't play GTA anymore. If 7:46 is the "best" time, imagine how long the casual gamer would have to play. I can't commit to anything that in depth. Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Well, I guess the comparison point for me would be RPGs. My Disgaea: Hour of Darkness file has 144 hours racked up on it since release. ;)

WHY do people keep time attacking this game? And why does it keep getting published? No level of expertise can make it not boring. I'm sorry.

Haven't watched the most recent update (still at work), but I decided I'd give the one up to Star World 1 a whirl this morning while getting ready to head to the office. Wow. That's all I can say.

I don't know, I didn't care for that one much. Conan is Emo had me in gales of laughter, and I really liked Conan is Captain Planet and Conan Summons a Fire Spirit ;) Edit: And for one of the slickest gif edits I've seen, http://azumangapsp.ytmnd.com/

... but I saw this one and just had to share. http://conagahnim.ytmnd.com/ (Essentially ytmnd.com is a site where people take images, either still or looping animations, and place them to background music. The original was of course yourethemannowdog.com)
