That would be strange, because the site admin knows that the movies are tool-assisted.
That I did see. Like I said, it's babelfish, so it's probably not translating well at all.

Yeah, that's what I got out of it too, after re-reading it.

Ah, Babelfish, how flawed you are. Although based on what I could understand, it looks like they aren't aware it's tool-assisted and are debating whether or not it is legitimate?

This is going to turn into the next Super Mario World run for me. Checking every day to see if we've got an update on the progress, etc. :)

I've only watched to the end of World 4 myself, and all I can say is that this was crafted by the hands of Satan himself. :P

Good to know. I was not aware of that, Bisqwit :)

I just think it's funny that a movie goes from having a star, to being slightly faster due to a change at the end of the game, and no longer has a star.

Advanced You scored 93% Beginner, 93% Intermediate, 87% Advanced, and 72% Expert!
That's disheartening. I just verified the key and double checked my answers, and I snagged all of the '2 point' answers for Beginner, so... *shrug*. And in Intermediate, well, looks like the 'invaluable/priceless' 'either a or b' option was the only mistake I made. I'm quite confused on the scoring system. Same with Advanced, only one 'either a or b'. And Expert? The sensual/sensuous answer. Not sure how the score is calculated... *ponder*.

The loss in altitude usually would pose a problem later on, from what I can gleam.

I hated EnterTheGame since the time they "sold the gaming community out", if you will. Their network was running like crap and come to find out it was all the hidden anime channels taking up over half the server resources (and being over half the population) at the time. It didn't really bug me but it was a pain in the ass being unable to connect. Of course, when they started g-slash-k-lining anyone affiliated with ProUnreal because some of the ProUnreal staffers mentioned that the anime filesharing channels were in violation of ETG's rules, well, that's when I said 'screw it' and left. Apparently EnterTheGame should have been called EnterTheAnime, because they sure as hell didn't care about the gaming community at that time. I think that's about the time that HomeLAN pulled out their support, and they got into trouble with Sprint. That was a while back... maybe TNSe can give you a more accurate summary as I was on a brief hiatus from UT then :P And KaitouKid, weren't you the one who was paranoid that I was sending you a virus batch file a while back? ;) Seems you'd be happy about this kind of precaution, hehe.

Or if you do mention it, just say that you've seen certain things that would definitely help to improve this run. Don't say "Yeah, well, I did it faster, so there!" or they'll lynch you :P

Would you like some cheese with that whine? On topic, haven't gotten a chance to finish watching it, but I like what I've seen so far :o

Yeah, looks like I deleted it. I think the CD it's on is at a friend's place. I'll check for it Friday.

I could probably split it into smaller chunks and e-mail it to people if their e-mail can handle it *shrug*. Edit: Assuming I still have it... I think I may have deleted it last weekend when clearing out a bunch of files... heh... I'll check when I get home.

If PS2 emulation w/ rerecording ever rolls around, Crazy Taxi can be done there. Or the GC for that matter (I think they released it for GC, didn't they?).

The 'Babelfish' I am referring to is AltaVista's translation tool.

I think both formats are amazing. I was 'wow'ed by Red Scarlet's Super Metroid run, and I was 'wow'ed by Teri's speed run on this site. The former because it was incredibly fast and legitimate, and the latter because it was entertaining as hell and the tricks used surprised me.

It's faster. I vote yes. If Phil and Genisto or Pom release a movie that's as fast as this /or faster/ and more entertaining, by all means, swap it out.
