There's Options-Emulator-Speed Up Toggle, but I honestly can't find the option that lets you hold a key to speed it up. I think it might be hardcoded.

I've read that you can't actually catch a Mew with the Missingno trick. There's another glitch that'll accomplish that, though.

Yeah, you're right. It'll probably be more readable, too.

Yes, you can change the keys for just about everything, including frameskip. Game buttons are Options-Joypad-Configure-1.... Menu options are Tools-Customize....

Well, I think it was just a way to keep it from interfering with other Super Mario Brothers movies.

Fortune wanted to use this ROM for a Final Fantasy 2 run, but I think it would be better to use it for just a practice run, like what Omega's doing.

And I suppose there aren't any pipes that bypass those pits, are there? Good find, then.

Yeah, put it on a disk and take it to someone else's computer. That should work.

Well, whenever I need to transfer a file between computers without a disk handy, I just E-mail it to myself as an attachment. And if it won't accept .smv attachments, you could try renaming or zipping it.

What is all that junk in the middle, anyway? Is it supposed to be the file's savestate, represented by dot-sized characters? I don't really see the point of it, whatever it is. But otherwise it's nice. Imagine how I felt upon finding out that FCEU wasn't storing ANY disk system operations into my movie files.

Wait, so are you saying that the slowdown is not a problem, or that it's not a problem worth fixing?

Oh, I was just referring to a couple of Game Boy Advance games where people said that they slow down on VisualBoyAdvance when they don't slow down at all on a real Game Boy Advance. As though VBA were underestimating the processor or something.

Hold on a second We have to see if unnecessary lag can be eliminated Because if it can, then everybody has to start all over

Yes, that'd be the sketch glitch in FF6. But you probably wouldn't want to do this very much. You know how much the Sketch glitch screws up the game in FF6.
Reminds me of the Missingno glitch.

So VBA is incorrectly adding lag to the games? I wonder if that happens to GB games, too.

I think it's because that one hit made the movie faster. It's annoying when you have so few hits separating your fast-as-possible movie from a no-damage run.

I don't know if this is related, but I've noticed that in Nitsuja's patch, the sound seems to be a bit behind the visuals, like a few extra frames, compared to older patches. This is even causing sounds from the present to be heard a while after a save state is loaded, which is annoying when I want to be able to tell what's going on based on the sound. Is this fixable?

Hmm... Little Samson also has a very MegaMan-ish feel, I believe, but mostly for the title character.
