I thought Ferret Warlord was having secret ninja training for 2 years. When did he have time to make this?

Don't fight the bats. Also use a slow battle speed, it affects when enemies get turns only. You can use fewer Sandbears against Archaeoavis I think because not all of his forms are Heavy (so 2x Sandbear, 2x Death Claw+attack, 1x L5 Death for the 5 forms). Byurobolos you want to use Suiton or something and kill all but one, who uses Exploder, so you learn it. Don't bother learning 1000 Needles. You seem to have some assumption that Ice and Water are the same element? They aren't. EDIT: You can't avoid battles on the Big Bridge. If you kill Abductor the first time you don't fight him the second.

Please reread the thread where I correct errors in my path. You're choosing the wrong battles in world 1. (there's a formation outside Tule which has a Goblin and some other stuff that gives you Goblin Punch and the needed EXP, also there's a formation you need to encounter before the mountain to get the EXP, etc). Some of your boss strategies are also slow.

Yes, and I already made a full WIP of it. Everyone hated it so I never bothered to amke an optimal version or submit it.

Perhaps this is a question answered in the FAQ, but those with avatars which break the rules usually haven't read it. [Edited by Bisqwit: added link]

Yes I agree SprintGod's version is very good. But I cite the same concerns, Low quality doesn't have visual information about stickiness (I don't really care so much about score). Anyway Tetris 3 is much much MUCH better than Tetris DX which sucks.

It's just a minihack that was made to test an editor, the game only progresses until Kraid. So what's the point?

It increases speed by brick count and not by line count ;_; So after 3 minutes, what's the difference between it and death? Oh well I hit #20 on 2nd play.

If I remember correctly (I haven't played it in a long time, I've owned it since it released) the last boss doesn't have invincibility time? So using X means it's a very quick fight. But do you collect enough Souls on the way to buy those things? So really I don't know. Anyway the only thing added in Extreme is the final level, so is it really worth it to have that playthrough and not just an X playthrough and a Zero playthrough?

X is an unstoppable killing machine in this game, provided you DON'T pick up all of his armor. I have no idea what route or modes would be good for an attack though.

That's what TASes already are. You are suggesting that we play different games entirely, which look like the original superficially but are different in some way... but this site is about seeing how hard a completely unmodified game can be destroyed.

So, did I enjoy this movie? yes. And I voted accordingly. But between adelikat's and Shinryuu's... Quick! Someone do Gradius II! And Fantasy Zone series! And Parodius series! And NOT R-Type!

This is a yes vote from me. Plenty here is improved, plenty here I like ^_^ I DON'T like: not warping through stuff to show you can, not playing the Moai level, using Laser and Shield. I DO like: "playing" the game rather than playing the game, showing that you are in control of everything. I'm interested in adelikat's run of this game as well, but this one was good enough that I watched the whole way through without feeling it was wasting my time.

This is a very long game, but I don't see anywhere that changes would save more than a few seconds at most, if they save time at all. I absolutely love this game but you kind of need to be familiar with it to enjoy the movie. I'm voting yes, but that's just because I like the game and the movie is really really awesome - I concede that it's not particularly entertaining for someone who doesn't already worship this game.

I also have a "no" vote. None of the enemies are being played with. The player gets into no danger whatsoever, it just kills things. Not even 100% kills, just kills at random that don't add to the entertainment value. Morimoto's video kills every enemy that has a powerup and very, very few others. And he plays tag with all the other enemies, running circles around them or otherwise getting near them and showing off. It's much more fun to watch.

I don't know how handheld videos happen. You can get one of those devices that displays PSP video on the TV and record it that way, or I guess you could use a camcorder or webcam. Anyway, fastest completion and fastest 100% for both hard modes (is there a hard Vava?) I'd think is the way to go.

By the way Iriasu 29 is not a low score for Famitsu, it's above average.

I have a copy of 2, but I suck at the game (& have no way to capture video except using an emulator). EDIT: I hope Shinryuu knows that no official OSTs of these games were made, and that the official Rockman 1-6 OST is the Famicom versions...

Umm... wouldn't a speedrun of Picross just be filling in the solution as fast as possible?
