I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by reviving an old thread. But since I'm not sure where else to ask, well, here I go: Now that this site has the Vault category, could this run possibly be published? It's just far too great of a TAS (for anyone knowing the game) of an all-time classic to just let it lie here unpublished.

Nice run! I used to play around with this game some time ago cause it's one of these games I played as a kid, and I think there's two small improvements that can be made, both using the same glitch: It is possible to fly "underneath" the level without dying. You can pass any obstacles including solid walls, but you also cannot get back up any more. This can be used in the last bridge level once you got unlimited wingpower to simply fly underneath the entire level, skipping a few walljumps (and possibly some lag). It also should be possible to use the same trick in the bridge level before that to skip the last walljump. Otherwise, great run!

Just saw the published run. Nice job. I have an unfinished WIP lying around somewhere (never managed to get the basketball boss to stop moving around so much. I'm quite the noob at luck manipulation), and found a little trick back then that wasn't used in the current run. In the level on the train, you can actually prevent the player from shaking off the dust. Just keep jumping after you leave the tunnel until you finish the level, he'll remain all black (and some enemies will be, too). Just jump as soon as you land. It doesn't work on every frame, but it's definitely possible. Just thought I'd let you guys know.
