Made a video covering a lot of commonly used values in tases however the video was far too long so I have broken it into pieces. Below is the first part regarding basic x and y positions. BizHawk Ram Search Player X Y Position and X Y Speed Link to video

That yoshi tas was awesome. And a good length too. A portrait of ruin Tas would be fun as well.

So I would like to know more subpixels. What ways are there to find subpixels? As a bonus could I also get an explanation of the best ways of using them as a practical way of improving a tas?

Bizhawk Ram Search Tutorial Link to video Tried to cover all the different options I could find, and explain how they work and how to use them. At the start I show how to find a boss's health, then go through the different comparisons, then go through the buttons and options. Thoughts and feedback are appreciated.

1) If you open up Ram Search. Click "Search" -> Copy Value to Previous. There is also a button next to the "New" button. 2) Not sure if it is related but there is a Options -> Define Previous Value. What are these and how do I use them? Thanks.

Turns out, if you turn off sound, the game plays significantly faster. Between that and speeding up timings around the bomb, arming the drones, and a few other small places. This results in a 4:58.150 world record. I could probably cut it down a few more seconds, but will be in a few days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkwTuL4IETg
Hello. DOS runs are pretty rare so started reading. One thing you may want to consider is to ask a judge about whether to have the sound on or off. If you intend on tasing it that is.

If you double-click on marker frame in the inputroll, it should spawn the text edit popup too. IIRC binding markers to input also affects wither they're saved to branches. I missed your question in the chat, it's better to talk here I guess.

Can you use \n in hawk subtitles as a linebreak?
That does not seem to work on system unfortunately. https://puu.sh/GqClA/a00f0f7c8d.png Ok here is the latest take with the subtitles. includes the delete, and also explains that the subtitle window accessed through the menu from the game view window is for View only, and the one accessed in TasStudio via Metadata -> Subititles is the one where you can Edit. Bizhawk Subtitles [made private due to being old version] Edit: Replaced above link with one that explained about needing to have brief comments to fit the 1x scale. Edit: Need to replace the above vid again since it is possible to delete a row by pressing the Delete button on the keyboard on selection of a row.

While the game is really slow there are enough things going on to make it interesting. Looks like a lot of work was put into this. While I was not super entertained probably because I am not familiar with this game I thought it was good. Yes.
